I have Desura and Steam on Windows, Desura on Linux. On the Windows side I've bought lots of Bundles, and Steam games which were either added directly to my Desura account or scanned from my PC and added to my Desura account because I owned them in Steam. Now I'm not trying to install Windows games on Linux, I need WINE for that and would rather quickly just change OSes. What I want to do is play the games that are on my account, Windows and Linux versions. I OWN all these games either through again Bundles or Steam, yet when I got to download and activate these games, it brings up a payment option. I'm not buying a game I already own just to have it on a different OS. I might as well just boot Windows right? Any solutions?

Unfortunately there is no way for the Linux Desura client to detect the games that are installed on your other partition. On Windows they don't actually get added to your Desura account either, even though they show up in your Play tab. If you delete the games from Steam, they'll disappear from Desura as well.

Most of the earlier HIBs gave out Desura keys as well as Steam keys, so the best course of action would be too add all the ones that are available first. After that, you should try contacting the game devs directly and requesting Desura keys. I understand what you are saying about already owning the games, but it's up to the developer in the end.

This, you need to activate the game on your Desura account. At this URL you can check what is connected to your account Secure.desura.com
