im trying to add a get firefox button to my signature but whenever i put in the code it just shows up as code, i obviously dont kno anything about html, help would be appreciated

If you click mDBCode on the right of when you're making your reply, you'd notice that HTML is turned off, while that code is turned on.

So, basically, in order to have the picture show up, use the [img-][/img-] tags (without the dashes - ) as regularly as you'd use the <img src=""> tags. In this case, put the link to the picture between those [img-][/img-] tags in your sig, and you'll be fine.

If you want to go farther, use [url=""-][img-][/img-][/url-] tags (without the dashes, of course), and just put whatever you want to link to between those quotation marks, which are needed.

so im guessing theres no way to take a html code thing thats ready to add a button to my sig, im trying to add a "get firefox" button and they provide the html stuff, so should i just use the link they have in there and do my own little bit for the pic?

You should copy the url link from that html bit and use that for the url, and copy the image link for the image. That's what I did for my sig when I did that Simpsons quiz.
