Hello, I am a student Applied computer science and I am in my last year and I like to think I have now a decent enough understanding of coding to start with game development. From my experience in college I know that learning in a peer tutoring environment is more efficient and fun, you are motivated, enthusiastic and there is a certain pressure to 'achieve', a certain feeling of competition.

Now for this reason I am looking for people (don't really care for background, age, race, religion, education, knowledge and whatever comes to mind really.) that are interested in game development and the technologies, ideas, principles and patterns that stand behind it. I want to achieve a small 'club' to dabble into these things and everything game related, not only coding but also design, analysis, ... . I must point out here though that the goal here is not 'making a game that gives me a ton of money and/or fame.' The contrary actually, if ever something gameworthy would sprout from this, I would love to make it available for free, as the main goal here is education. Learning, understanding, building friends. Yes we can later on start a gamedev team, but the major goal here is again, learning.
As I already said, I am not looking for a specific kind of people, everybody is welcome. If you don't have any program knowledge at all, you are welcome. Teaching you about coding will only improve my own, so it is a win-win situation. The only thing required is an adequate pc system and access to the internet. I said that I don't care for your age, and that is true, whether you are 8 or 88 I do not care. But I do care for one thing however. Maturity. People who are fast to judge, have a pointing finger and are unable to properly discuss or engage conversation with another are not welcome. All the others are welcome =). If you are interested you can send me a note on here or just post a reaction and I will try my best to respond as quickly as possible.
Kind regards.
