FOOD FIGHT mod idea Thread

Well I have been thinking about making a Food Fight mod (probably for HL2) for a while now and he have loads of ideas all jumbled up but you can probably imagine what it would look like. Set around a school, different gangs of schoolchildren with adapted veggie-weapons, having a massive food-fight in the cafeteria to rescue the hostage 1st years. And by the way the mod would be cartoony (I have always been a big fan of SDBC and the hammy-bob series).

So I would grateful if you could leave feedback, tips, advice and ideas for the mod, and of course I need help. Any help would be good, from "Ideas Man" to coding, and everything in between. At the moment though I really need to get other people (possibly co-leader) to help with sorting out ideas and some concept drawings.

Yeah, it does sound original, and it'd be a contrast to all of mods using guns. I say go for it. Just make sure it attracts both the young and more mature audiences.

Ok... Why not have food you can throw by hand? that'd be cool, like cakes and pies and fun stuff, you could have like the paint bucket effect off HL2. Would be pretty cool.

Yah, that is the idea of a food fight, hand thrown food. Of course you could adapt see-saws in the playground into catapults for pies etc but most would be hand thrown.

That sounds real funny I'm gonna watch it as soon as its up on moddb!
I'd also put in some soft ice machine that u can use to blow soft ice all over the place. Or generally just some everyday kitchen appliances that can be abused as "dangerous" weapons Or maybe u wanna put this supermarket right across the street so kids can go get more and maybe different food to throw around.

Tuna Club: Replacement for crowbar. Consists of a sub sandwich with tuna salad on it.

Broccoli spears: Thrown knives?

BFU (Big F***ing Udders): Shoots a stream of milk. Hold down the secondary fire so it can sharge and it'll fire a huge milk bomb that'll take out everything in a room

Mystery Meat Surprise: 1-gallon bags filled with pukey slop.

Malk: Grenade. Now with vitamin K!

Twinkies: health.

Food trays, pot lids and cooking pots: armor!

So far I have:

Spaghetti (uncooked): Thrown as spears
Lollipops: Throwing knives
Blender: Used like chainsaw
Banana: As beastly boomerang

And of course how could it be a food fight game without pies, every sort of pie imaginable can be thrown

i did, I lurrrvd it, if I get a team and actually make the mod that would be a definate weapon

well you got to have the trad ones:
-grab some food and stick it in your spoon which you then use to catapult it at someone
-shake up a fizzy drink and let rip (grenade?)
-erm one of those icing things that spray icing onto cakes?
