Face 2 Face, first medias.. Thread

Hello everybody,

You may remember I posted a message in the mod idea forum asking for some help for a duel mod..

The big news is that a coder accepted to help me, so we started the project.. we are a 2 people team for a (small) project, so don't expect new medias every days :p

We have no webpage yet and we will probably relase our first beta along side the website.

Anyway here are the first pictures..

The map is of course a DM map from HL².

the stzles differ a bit no? the guns verz shinz and bright in a map thats verz dark and rough

That purple/maroon glove is hideous, why would you choose such an ugly thing for a skin.

I dont know, maybe the guy like the maroon/purple colour, hehehe I like the gun however.

Well, I do like the gun but the glove just totally throws it off.

I like it, the maroon glove gives it a unique kind of feel.

About the gloves, yes I like it, it matchs the golden version of the gun. Anyway it's just a skin to fit the character cloths, there will be more..

ha, i was thinking the same thing about the gloove, and hoping i wasnt the only one who noticed.

I like the glove and gun, i think they go good together. now all we need is a little green, and we can call it mardi gras!

I think the glove looks great. Why shouldn't gay characters be allowed in computer games :p

what is up with people's addictions with having fingerless gloves? its damn cliche.. and i dont think they are even close to as common as mods/games make them out to be.

It IS the same glove.People are too lazy to model their own hands these days.

Pretty cool, the glove is not such a good idea but the gun is exelent apart from the small hammer and the gun being to shiny

Yes the hands are coming from the CSS, I didn't modeled a specific one yet since this was a GUN oriented screen at first.

More details about the mod will come soon enough, we are working on it quite regulary but remember, we are a 2 persons team.

I should take the picture in some other area, it's shiny, true, but I'm close to a bright spot there. Will fix that soon.

I don't mean to offend someone but bitching about a color isn't really what I consider positive c&c. As I read in this thread too, it's time to be mature now.
