I figured since this is Mod discussion, we would discuss a mod, specifically EXTinction, by Fragu.
The mod is coming along slowly, but steadily. We have a bit more people than we did before, and it has a lot more form. We have decided to do single-player first, since it suits the Doom 3 engine best. Since we've created such a big universe for EXT, we are having trouble thinking of a really good, immersive, single-player story. I mean, we have our backround story down, just not a single-player story, or even a main character. We have the humans stuff down, we should have concept art for most of it soon, but a lot of it we dont have. Aliens are not really complete, since we want the aliens to be not only origional, but very interesting and scary.
I made an outline for the humans in EXT a little while ago outlining all weapons, vehicles, and units for humans. Aliens, we are still having trouble with.
Our current website is horrible, and hasn't been updated for a while. We are currently seeking sombody to make a new site for us, and sombody has answered, and i replied, but no answer since.
In an attempt to bring more people to our forums we have uploaded a new theme which looks infinatley better than the default subsilver.
So, things are going well, but it could be better.
