It's another Eminem video (2nd in a row) that's gone under controversy and hasn't played on TV or the airwaves (except for on Saturday Night Live once last night). It's an awesome video, with unique art and animation (if you've seen Chronic Future's "Time and Time Again" then you'll recognize the style). It's an awesome video that conveys a powerful message Eminem is trying to send, which is mostly politics and the election coming up in 2 days (said to be the most important election perhaps ever). You can watch the full-length video at Ifilm.com . It's the 8th video down. Note: IF YOU DON'T LIKE EMINEM, DON'T POST HERE! This thread is to discuss the video and the genius that is Eminem (he couldn't have gotten this far as a white rapper otherwise). Keep the negative comments about Eminem as a rapper personally out of this thread. If this happens, any mod/admin is willing and welcome to delete those posts. Hatebreed, please read next time. If you don't like rap, please keep out. Kthx. Oh, by the way, rapping takes plenty of talent in order to be successful. Look at people such as P. Diddy, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Kanye West; they're millionaires, because there are big brains at work, and they know what sells and how to do business. Not everybody can make as many rhymes as they can -- "He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster." |

I just said rapping doesnt take talent of any sort, dude I can out freestyle most kids at my school ( if I had a mic I would record it and prove it to you but I dont so yeah) and I listen to death metal... just its not saying much for rap Edited by: Hatel3reed --

Argh, can we please talk about the video instead of other things? I thought the video was exceptionally well done, for what I could see, and really sent the message Eminem wanted. What do you guys think? -- "He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster." |

Wow. That was actually a powerful video. Interesting how he captures the true essence of Bush, rather than the 'Big Hero' the media makes him out to be. |

Lol, well, I think if you watched a show like "Daily Show with Jon Stewart', you'd see a strict contrast from that. They're bipartisan, but you can see that they pretty much despise Bush. -- "He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster." |

The video used MANY things from the time and time again video, like the parents, and the putting on the armor and such. I think i liked that one better though, but i dont understand why they wont air this one. |

Well, they barely used anything from the "Time and Time Again" video. Chronic Future's was about a kid who was taken from his band to fight in Iraq. Eminem is basically just bashing Bush and talking about how controversial thing sre really getting in the nation. I am pretty sure they didn't air it because it bashed Bush and they thought it might influence the election Maybe they'll air it afterwards, but they might have to cut the part about voting. Eminem's "Girl" video was never played, although you can see it on the "8 mile" movie DVD, I believe. -- "He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster." |

Thats not what i mean. They have things from the video directly, not ideas or anything, just people or items. |

No shit. Last night, every time Bush won the crowd went 'BOOOOOOOO!' and every time Kerry won everyone went 'WOOOOOOOOO!' Then Jon Stewart mock-thought and wondered who they were voting for. It was funny, then I went to sleep. |

wow... interesting video and yea i agree about what u said karuto. They probably didn't air it because it coulda made an impact and make some non-voting people vote for kerry:P Well anyways... 4 more years of bush, we'll see how it goes... |
