Door keys not registering Thread

Hello everyone, my first post here.

I have been enjoying project brutality for couple of days now. Unfortunately I can not enjoy it to the fullest since I have a strange bug I could not figure out how to fix. For some reason every door key I pick up not registering and I can not advance through key locked door without using cheats. Keys are visible before I pick them up, but they blinking. I used the instruction to install the mod. Wondering if anyone experience it before. Thanks.
