Demon Seal (Naruto mod) for HL2. Recruit thread Thread

Temporary name for mod? Give ideas!

I'm really sorry, but I don't have many ideas, and not many members by my side. I just watched some Naruto-episodes, when the idea came up in my mind; why not make a Naruto Mod? HL2 has everything you need for a cool mod like this, so that's why this idea is great. If there are any other Naruto-mods out there, then so be it. This one'll make some difference. All it needs are ideas, faithful team members and fans.

Here are my ideas:

Weapons:
You'll be able to perform seals and techniques, your "Chakra" will increase slightly overtime. If possible, you'll be able to "rest" if you find a safe place, maybe behind a locked door, to increase your Chakra faster. The more you use seals, the better you become at them, and you may even find other powers awakening...
Other weapons would be swords, spears, throwing weapons and maybe even the "Shadow Windmill"

Some characters will specialize in close combat, thus using fists and legs as weapons (example: Rock Lee), and some will have other tactics (Examle: Sound ninjas) or just allrounders (Example: Naruto)

Maps: Various places from the Anime/Manga, places such as:

-The Second Course ground (the jungle-like thing, with the house in the middle)

-Naruto's hometown (aww man! What's its name...)

-Other known places

Characters:
Naruto:
An allround character, may become one of the greatest of them all, but it would take some time and hard work for it to become reality. Strong techniques, but he may be slow.

Extra: If a teammate dies in Naruto's presence, he may find that his Demon Seal temporarily opens a bit.

Sakura:
With an iron will, this girl isn't any normal girl. Protecting people with her life, she is a smart person with average fighting skills.

Sasuke:
Using mostly seals in his attacks, he is a powerful fighter, but doesn't get much stronger. Can use many seals, has lots of Chakra, but his weakness is he doesn't want help and think he can handle the situation himself.

Extra: Can awaken his Sharingan after lots of hard work and patience; then he'll be able to copy enemy techniques (using lots of Chakra).

Kakashi:

Sensei of the three, he is a strong fighter. He doesn't improve much at all during the game, but his strong attacks, high speed and Chakra makes him a great beginner character.

Extra: Has a Sharingan in his left eye, needs some time to prepare since he covers it with his mask.

These are the staff members I will need:

Webmaster
= Says it all

Some guy... who makes sites...
= Name says much

Modelers (I myself model)
= Can model weapons, humans or other necessary stuff.

Skinners
= Knowledge in anatomy, impression of chromed materials etc.

Animators
= Can create life-like movements

Mappers
= Able to make areas true to the Anime/Manga, with destructible landscape, houses etc.

Coders
= Be able to gather all these things to make a feel of Naruto

Concept Artists (if empty on good reference pictures, this spot isn't that necessary though)
= Should come up with some ideas, draw weapons up close, or just mess around

Other (Sprite creators? I dunno...)
= Clashes, fire, ice and other

These are my ideas. Is my team out there somewhere on these forums?

One more thing: It would be the best if you live near Sweden, to have regular meetings when it suits best. It's not required though.

Im a bit tied up at the moment, but i could squeeze a little in for a smaller job like this.

Yeah. Oh, and it's almost required to have at least watched Naruto for these jobs

Well... ok, sorry if you didn't see that this mod was about Naruto. It's an anime, and no, its not a pokemon-like show :/ it's a great anime, people should watch it.

It's a good idea it's currently free to download, it is in the "creating and subbing" period, 39 episodes have been released. It can be downloaded off their official site (which I don't know where it is) and off sharing programs.

Should I register my mod to draw attention? I know many people like Naruto... it just doesn't seem they are here right now...
The problem is that I don't have a site, or a host for that matter, so I can't register my mod.
