Hello,

I'm currently the webdesigner/self-proclaimed Team Recruiter for the Dulce Et Decorum Half-Life 2 mod, located at Ded.drireignmods.com . I'm not going to get into background here as it's detailed on the site (though needs to be edited for spelling errors).

Anyway, we need the following positions filled:

Player Modeler Required: The DED team is looking for an able character modeller with some previous experience to help bring the mod's concepts out of 2d and into detailed 3d models. Dulce Et Decorum is a team-based mod with a futuristic feel. The majority of weapons, characters and vehicles are completly original and the concepts are open to interpretation. Therefore a modeller with a flair of their own would be a great bonus, and they would certainly have scope to express their creative opinions. The modeller must be fluent in either 3ds Max, Maya, Softimage XSI, or any other 3d-creation program.

Mapper Required: The DED team is looking for an able mapper with some previous experience to help create the multiplayer maps that are the mod's centerpiece. The maps are largley objective-based, but may include some team deathmatch, capture the flag and other traditional modes. Dulce Et Decorum has a futuristic setting, mixing traditional battlefield settings with distinctive architecture and imagery. Some maps are already planned out, but others would be entirley up to the mapper (with some consulation with the mod team) so an imaginative but realistic approach would be an important asset.

Coder Required: Dulce Et Decorum is a three-way team based mod with a sci-fi feel. Due to the large amount of custom material needed we require quite a bit of coding in almost every aspect of the mod, probably beginning with basic gameplay. We are looking for a coder with a good level of ability, ideally who has prior experience with modding and some example mods to show us. You will join the team as our lead coder and begin work ASAP. To balance the workload we may seek a second coder.

We also need an animator, but that can wait until we can get modeler(s). I'm also in discussions with a skinner, but if you're good at texturing/skinning, then apply as well.

Heh, no problem David.

You see, I don't have control over the ModDB profile yet, as DrZais is our team leader. I'm just helping to recruit team members so that he can focus on other mod-oriented tasks.

He has the crazy idea to wait a few weeks before recruiting the team, seeing as how he has things to do and such in life. I figured I'd ease the workload of his and help him in this task, for now.
