After a little messing around with the new Hammer 4.0 I created this "hostage-massacre" map -- If you run you'll only die tired! |

It's almost the same as the old. Same interface. Main difference are some more advanced features included. i.e water -- If you run you'll only die tired! |

Haha, that's awesome. Good use of the ragdoll physics, that's for sure -- "He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster." |

Should've added phsycs to the wood planks so that they could fall down on top of the scientists and CRUSH THEM!! --

i was thinking that, it would be fun to watch them fly far away -- running a hot rodded mac mini |

How come the hostages are 2cm up off the plank? Its the same for maps too :/ -- Why wont it save me? |

I guess he's just a noob mapper that when he made the map, he didn't drag the boxes where the humans would be place directly onto the planks, and instead missed them a few centimeters. Same thing happens to me when I compile a map. I actually drop to the ground, and then start playing -- "He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster." |

tthey should drop onto there places In the old VH if you placed a scientist high in the air he would fall to theground -- Nothing. |

If this was created with the leaked Hammer Editor, this map is illegal you know. --

the SDK is out you fool -- Nothing. |
Nov 7 2004 Anchor | ||
^^ Exactly. It's been out for a couple days. It's perfectly legal now -- "He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster." |

you can make css maps with it atm only, since HL2 obviously isn't out to test with I *FUCKING* hope its with the retail version you buy in the shops Becuase I want to buy HL2 of the shelfs -- Nothing. |
Nov 7 2004 Anchor | ||
Of course it is. The SDK was released with the first game (with Worldcraft specifically), so there's no reason why it wouldn't show in this game. If that's not the case, then you can always download the rest of the files online since you have the cd key to prove you own it -- "He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster." |

It's not because they're placed above the ground, but because they're hanging in the ceiling -- If you run you'll only die tired! |
Nov 7 2004 Anchor | ||
And Half Life 2 is known for its physics... |
Nov 7 2004 Anchor | |
which is why its really odd -- Nothing. |
