Counter-Strik e players Strike for Real Thread

According to the newest issue of Game Informer Magizine...

A brawl broke out at a Los Angeles internet cafe after rival Counter-Strike gangs showed up and squared off in real life. Pipes and chairs were brandished, and a kid was even shot. If only they would have stayed cooped up at home and played video games instead...

Great, nerds with guns. Gangs of the future, next they'll make a movie about virtual gangs 'battling' over at the cafe across the 8mile.

Seriosly though, "the more the games seem like war, the more war may start to seem like a game." The idea in this world is to pass on your genes and your culture, if you can't do that, don't waste my time and get in my way.

That really is pathetic.. i mena i know it is sad, but a shotout over CS? Will give game critics even more to argue with now, in saying that play games cause homicidial tendancies

the fact is when you play these ppl on cs from the safty of your own home what do think may happen if you ever meet these sick gamers. I mean siure I love a small slag off match in game as a little bit of fun but the fact is this may provoke them its very stupid to let this get to you but some ppl arn't right its sad but true

Mate your making a big assumption that they were 10 year olds. In fact I'd think thats discrimantory. Firstly, I highly doubt it would have been 2 gangs of 10 year olds brandishing pipes and chairs and even a gun... More then likely ppl of age 16 and up... i'm thinking bout 17/18 year olds. They seem ot be the more violent types in gangs.

Neverthess, a shame it has come to this.

The problem with these people is yes their morons that don't get it's just a game sure you can want to kill someone but for a videogame thats stupid you should just get better than them and kiick thier azz at the game

this one woman sued sony because her son killed himself after playing everquest
her son played for 12 hours a day on average, had eppileptic seizures all the time, and had a psycological disorder that made him mentally unstable
