Coder / Partner needed for Q3 Mod - $ potential Thread

Red Team Go LLC is looking for a few good guys. We are working on an innovative gaming solution and need talented, motivated, and driven individuals to join the team.

For our mod development crew, we only want the best. You must understand the Quake 3 engine in and out. There should be very little with the game that you cannot do. While what we desire is not complicated in the least, we are not looking to work with amateurs. You should also be also be a proficient C programmer with the ability to deal with sockets, xml, and data streams between the game servers and our backend data servers.

The mod will require:

1. Multiple game styles (1v1, team games, first to X kills, etc..)

2. The ability to login and authenticate a user versus the backend server in game (through console).

3. Communication between the game and our backend servers in real-time (xml).

4. Cheat detection.

As a team member, you will have the opporitunity to become an equal partner. This project is for profit and you will be paid for your work. This is a great opporitunity for game programmers who typically don't make anything on their work. We are a funded company and ready to begin immediately.

Requirements: You must be extremely profficient in making Quake 3 modifications and in C/C++ programming (Sockets/XML/etc). Communication between the game and our servers is 90% of this project and is what makes it work. Please know what you're doing before you contact us. This cannot be emphasized enough. Please include references, work you've done, and detail your experience with the quake engine and C/C++ programming in general.
