cc generals. wont play on windows 7 premium.microsoft has screwed us again

First off, C&C Generals has nothing to do with Windows 7. Microsoft and EA Pacific(Westwood Pacific) are not the same company. Generals came out in 2003 which means it was coded for that days operating system(WinXP and its brethen). Windows 7 came out in 2009, 6 years later. The issue is not Microsoft, but EA. EA would need to patch their old game to make it compatiable with Win7, which they are not likely going to be inclined to do as they no longer profit from the game.
