As you know, US is probably going to invade Iraq and take Saddam and biological weapons. I think this is half rediculous, because the US would most likely go 'solo' on this Operation. Even though we're olny supposed to go in to take out the stash of biological weapons, we might do more and cause more conflict and possibly start a holy war.

There are tons of bio-weapons in the US still though (most are being burned however), and more are still being made.

What do you think about biological weapons. Are they down right wrong, or ok depending on the circumstance? Should we use them (US or wherever you are from)? What should the limitations be?

And one more thing, I heard today that if US invaded Iraq, a group of clerics would declare a holy war on US, what are your views on that? Would they, can they?

When America invades Iraq...the moment Iraq feels they are being overpowered, what is stopping them from resorting to biological weapons? There is nothing stopping them.

Bioweapons are evil. Look at a picture of the victims. They all die in agony. Blood from all holes, bumps and sores, twisted up like a pretzel, suffocating to death. They are all evil.

No one should ever use them. It is morally wrong and will stain the culture that uses them for generations. No one has forgotten that USA settlers used smallpox against the Indians to take the USA have they?

It doesn't matter if the clerics declare holy war. They are powerless. The US has the biggest military in the world. The only thing they could do would be to recommend that people kill regular US citizens like you and me. ;(

Well, from what I've seen on TV, the state of IRAQ at the moment is not very good. Basically, the whole country has gone crazy over Saddam and his bullcrap policies. It's absolutely crazy! When he won the election (if that's what you wanna call it), every man and woman were shooting their automatic machine guns in the air like a bunch of uncivilized idiots.

I believe that if and when the US goes to war with IRAQ, all hell will break loose. Almost every person in IRAQ will be fighting for Saddam's crazy cause and will be probably willing to risk everything. I'm not suggesting that the US are wrong in what they believe. I agree with them, something must be done about IRAQ, cos it's only going downhill. Saddam is freeing prisoners and has everyone running rings around him. They don't see the evil that this guy is capable of producing. They are only seeing the benefits that the guy is producing to them, they aren't thinking of anything else...they aren't seeing the BIGGER picture.

Now, as for biological weapons, what can I say? I don't support any weapons of mass destruction and I would feel much better if I knew that every country in the world disposed of theirs in a safe way. That, however, I believe is impossible. Not impossible to get rid of them all, but impossible to believe that it will happen. Even if the US or IRAQ or India (or whoever) say they are rid of all their weapons of mass destruction, I can guarantuee you that they have not! Every country is afraid of what the other possesses, thus, there is always going to be a fear of another country using these weapons, so they think that they should have them as well.

Atom bombs, nuclear boms, hydrogen bombs, biological weapens - whatever you want to call them - are all designed for one thing; killing a huge amount of people. Anything that has the capability of doing this is surely seen as evil and in an ideal world, shouldn't exist! No matter where you use these weapons, innocent people are going to die and that is the worst thing possible. If a leader of a country is pure evil and has only bad intentions, nuking them isn't the answer. As I said, innocent people will die and that can't be good. It might take some more work then pushing a button and dropping a nuke on him (and about 1 million others), but surely there is another way of just targetting that person.

These weapons of mass destruction will probably end us all one day. If there are arguments, you will probably find that people are more likely to use these devastating bombs then turning to discussion and debating whatever topic is on the agenda. Surely most things can be resolved thru talks. Granted some things are very complex and countries stand on different sides of the fence, but that doesn't mean if you have a situation like that, you have to turn to you massive bombs!

No matter how you look at it, there is NO GOOD that can come of having such weapons. Every aspect of them spells a astronomical disaster and I hope none are ever used again...but that, I believe is wishful thinking.
