We of Beyond the Battlefield need new members because we wanna start a fresh start and we have got a change in opperating (i run the dig now). The members we have now are a coder, 2 modelers and me.

Our website is full of models and stuff, butt these do not exist enymore (formar leader deleted shit and does not have teammebers mail enymore) and a new website is being build @ the moment.

This is what the mod is about:

BEYOND THE BATTLEFIELD is a total conversion mod for Battlefield 1942.

The mod is based on the conflicts between several parties that were seen in Command and Conquer, this are Command and conquer, Red allert, Tiberium Sun Red alert 2 and maybe generals (including all the adons 2 these games). This mod will add several new features to the game. Here is a short list of what we will try to include in the final release of the mod. It plays just as battlefield 1942 does, except there is a commando class to build things and do more like giving commands. There are a ton of new features, don't expect these to come in near the begining, but if you stay with us we will eventually get them in, or try to, depending on engine limitations.

- A dozen or so different classes (commando, sniper, chrono trooper, flame trooper, spy, engineer, tesla trooper and more)

- A money system based upon damage dealt.

- A commander class, this class builds your base, buildings, they can only see what his troops see because of the fog of war. The commander plays a vital role, they must balance offensive structures as well as defensive structures, money management, as well as space efficiency. He must also communicate well with his troops, if he doesn't his troops will be going in blind, the commander can see every unit on the field and must relay this info
to the troops.

- Buildings that are built can be taken over by engineers and you can fight inside of them as well.

- All new vehicles including a helicopter that you can rapell from onto buldings and such, as well as hovercrafts, ships, tanks (including the mammoth tank!) and many other
suprises.

- Tank depots as well as tech centers and airfields can be built by the commander to give his units the edge in battle. He can even build pillboxes, tesla coils, walls, and even a nuclear silo and possibly an ion cannon.

- Weapon upgrades and equipment will be available for purchase when researched, such as grappling hooks, thermal vision, night vision, body armor, and C4.

What we need:

- Maybe some extra coders.

- Modelers for buildings, vehicles, infantery, weapons and more.

- Skinners for the models above.

- Animators that make tanks go boom and let them explode and let buildings come out of the ground and lots more.

- Sound dudes that can get real neat sounds.

- Mappers that make nice maps and if posible maps of the original games.

- Graphic artists for the layout and stuff.
