Hey there fellow sound enthusiasts :)

I was just wondering has anybody here studied audio post production in the UK and what courses would you recommend as I have just completed my sound engineering and music technology diploma and want to pursue my passion for film/game sound further. It's hard to tell if a college actually focuses on audio post production or recording engineering. Some are based more around the music industry rather than film/game sound and this can be frustrating sometimes.

Example: While studying for my diploma I asked one of my tutors about Fairlight and the Icon console and he didn't know what Fairlight was and he never used Icon. But when applying for the course it said that students would study audio post for film/tv using related hardware/software. We didn't. Now I just want to be sure about the next course I apply for. I have been looking at a few courses including the one at SSR London but I can't make my mind up yet. I also live in a small country with very little post production facilities so I can't really apply for many internships.

If anybody can help I'd appreciate it.

Thanks.
