Any Concept Artist's out there? Thread

Howdy everyone.

The Frozen Dawn is *Desperate* for some concept artist's with good imagination. The mod is set in the far distant future, so none of the modelers right now have any sort of clue as to what to model.

The jobs pretty straightfoward: The storyline crew outlines a units basic properties. The artists then go off and give us there best impression of the unit, and the modelers go from there. As a result, the concept artists have a *LOT* of say as to how the mod will look in the long run.

The mods description follows:

In the far distant future, mankind has spread his seed across the planets of the solar system to have colonies on most the moons and planets. One such colony is the Pluto Mining facility, a hotbed of anti-earth support and bellow-the-law trading practices.

The mining facility has its roots in a Earth Defense outpost, set up by Earth to keep an eye on the outermost limits of sol. However, after the arrival of miners on Pluto, pirate attacks picked up and supplies from earth eventually slackened, forcing the miners and the military to combine into what is today a very well armed mining base. Life for the miners is hard. Food is a precious limited resource, and the only way to get more is to barter with passing ships for more in exchange for raw materials to be found on Pluto. As a miner, your never sure where the next meal is coming from. And then there is the pirates. Pirate attacks are frequent, forcing the miners to stay well armed and well defended. Pirate attacks seek to do everything from basic robbery to genocide to pave the way for a massive pirate base on Pluto. Little is known about the pirates, or where they came from, but what we can be sure of is that pirate attacks have been rising sharply in the recent months. However a new type of attack has been witnessed recently. Several miner outposts across Pluto have gone off the air, and rumors of a force much more sophisticated then any pirate attack ever seen are building. a garbled transmissions believed to originate from one of the disappeared miner base's is believed to be a cry for help directed at earth. It is believed that a Earth Recon fleet has been dispatched from mars. This is not exactly welcome as the mining base on Pluto split from the core systems many generations ago. It appears things on the cold frozen surface of Pluto... are about to warm up.

The frozen dawn is a total conversion for breed and shall take advantage of everything the mercury engine has to offer. There shall be intense space fights, large ground battles, breath-taking visuals and hypnotizing game play. TFD Shall feature 4 sides, The Miners, The pirates, The unknowns and Earth Recon/Earth Defense.

TFD will focus initially on single player, then coop multiplayer. Plans for other modes of multiplayer are still being discussed.
