I think this mod will only be possible in a game like Half-Life 2 or UT2K4 (it requires complexity and vehicles). There can also be a...i dunno, tribal leader? he can be kinda like a commander (like ns) except everything is AoE style. when u spawn, i can choose different classes, and different weapons, armor, etc....leader can deploy cavalry and siege, and through the ages, more tech is available. i know the idea is very....crude, but a little development will make it el magnifico!!! hehe, 1 game will last like 2-3 hours. i personally like long games

theres already a game.. why bother making a mod of it ? just play the game itself :/

try making a futuristic aoe like with aliens and laser rifles and stuff.

the game is a strategy, fps will be even cooler

ok, let's see you even attempt to make people gather wood, food, stone, and gold. Trust me, having it in FPS is a very bad idea. I'd rather stick with the real AoE, since it belong where it should be, and that's the real-time strategy realm. Don't fix what isn't broken

EDIT: If your only reasons for making it from an FPS engine because of vehicles and complexity, than that is not enough. Use Command & Conquer if that's all you want.

There is already a game like that, it is called "Savage".

Excellent game, I suggest you play it. They get around the resource problem by making AI workers gather the stuff.

yeah savage is a very good game. i first played demo, i thot it was liek AoE...then i saw a gun. i was like wtf?

Get the full version. It is an excellent game, worth the money you buy it with.
