NONE OF THE BELOW APPLIES AT THIS MOMENT IN TIME, THE GAME IS WIP
Hey everyone, I'm Tom.
I plan to make a game (or series of games) of a similar genre to pokemon, but with the following features
- More up-to-date
- Less pokemon, more focus on leveling up to different tiers
- Every single creature in the game is possible to catch
- Larger island and story
- More save files (probably 5)
- Achievements maybe!?
- Both challenging and easy bits
- Multiple options of stuff to do at any given point
- MUCH higher resolution (probably 1024 by 576)
- More secrets + references
- Ideas will be submitted by the community
My website (that is not finished) is www.fuzzytom.com but it states nothing about the game at this moment in time.
The games on my website were made ages ago.
All of the programming can be done by me, but anyone experienced in game maker studio is welcome to help.
I SERIOUSLY need ideas: I haven't even chose a name for it yet! If you have thought of something, post below.
Price: Unknown (maybe free, maybe not)
Platform: Windows at the moment, but it could be on almost anything if this game is a success
System requirements: Anything should be able to run it
Screen resolution: Preferably 1280 by 720 or greater
If you contribute your name and what you did will be stated in the list of contributors. You will also get a free copy of the game if the game is not free.
Please tell me if you believe you could be one of these following people and want to be involved in this game:
Sprite makers (DESPERATELY NEEDED)
- Produce 64x64 pixel or more sprites of good quality
- Do not copy existing artwork
- Your work will be put straight into the game, and could replace work of insufficient quality
- Your work may be replaced, but you will still be listed as a contributor
Concept art people (Includes level / world design) (DESPERATELY NEEDED)
- Draw or produce designs for creatures, people or any parts of the map you want
- Do not copy existing artwork
Design and ideas (DESPERATELY NEEDED)
- Suggest improvements or ideas
- Your suggestions have priority over other members of the community
Programmer (Numbers are OK, but more are welcome)
- Must be experienced in game maker studio
- I do not know how to do team collaboration / source control at this time, if you do then please sign up
Sound and music are also needed, but will be one of the last things to be added
- Retro themed sounds are preferred
