adding BOUGHT games to you list of owned games,... how? Thread

Hey! How do i add my bought game my list of PAID FOR games. (I am being overly clear its an actuall bought and paid for game).

I bought Gnomoria just a few hours ago yet still it isnt in my list of games i own (and i cant seem to add it either). i still have the receipt and it doesnt seem to include any serial number i can use to add it. what should do about it?

If you go to the games page, there should be the option to click install. When the install starts it should add it to your list. If upon clicking install it asks you to purchase it again, then something went wrong. Hopefully it works out though.

It asks me to buy it again i guess... i have to buy it again??? ...sigh
Or if i could mail the reciept of the buy to an admin could they possibly add it?

I'd wait a bit. But if it's money you wont miss much, then by all means you can. But try to get an official word. Someone from desura might see this and have a proper answer.

Yeah we do not have anything to do with that.

Looks like you actually purchased the game through the developers site. Which is not quite a "wrong" place, but you can't have the game tied to your desura account unless you purchased it through desura, or they gave you a desura key with your purchase.
But, you should have been sent an email with download instructions after you purchased the game. Even if there is no desura key, you can install the game and add a shortcut to launch the game through your desura game list.

Well, its all fine, i got a download link via mail. but i am kinda worried what happens when a new update comes out. i guess ill deal with that then . Anyway , thx for he answers.
