Hey everyone I've noticed a few sites use Analytics to show where your referrals are coming from, and I know Desura uses some form of this as you can add referrals from sites you control to get a referral bonus. But I also talk about my game on random forums I don't control, or youtube videos, or advertisments on webcomics, or other such things. It'd be cool if there would be a way to see where your traffic is coming from on Desura, just so you can see which methods of getting the word out are working the most effectively. It's a pretty minor suggestion, the amount of information Desura gives developers at the moment is fantastic so even if they don't add this it's all good. I'm a big fan of Desura |

(IndieDB user) Agreed, I would REALLY love access to more in depth analytics, The "Users have come from in the past 10 minutes" bar is near usless. I really don't care about what happened in the past 10 minutes and don't have time to check my profile every 10 minutes to avoid missing data/referials, I care about what happened in the past 24 hours, 7 days, and 31 days. |
