A Clockwork Orange Thread

I'm already over-rabbited as it is, so I'm just going to shoot this malenky idea out. If anyone wants to pick up where I leave off, feel free to use it for your oddy knocky.

The game world is set in the world of A Clockwork Orange. All of the maps set at night, of course. It would basically be a bunch of players being dropped into the middle of a world full of NPC rozzes and millicents, malchicks and devotchkas, droogies and starry vecks, all dressed in the heighth of fashion. Players could use a like character system to band together in groups. Not big groups of like 6 or more, but 4 or 5, as was common then.

Those gangs, or droogies out on their oddy knocky, could do a number of things. They could kick back peeting moloko plus, or milk with knives if they're making their rassoodocks for a malenky bit of the old ultraviolence, they could go shop crasting if they're a malenky bit short on pretty polly, they could filly about with starry vecks not too poogly on the old Nadsat and letting the red red krovvy flow with your cutthroat britvas or your real horrorshow kickboots. Of course the old ultraviolence can draw a malenky bit of like attention from the millicents, so they couldn't do much shopcrasting or any of the old in-out-in-out with the rozz patrols about. Or they could just use some of their cutter to get an alibi for the droogs, such as loading up some baboochkas on some Scotchmen or Veterans or black and suds. Or they could just spend their time peeting their moloko plus synthesmesc or any of those types of veshches and spend their time in the land with Bog and All His Saints.

Just a malenky idea from Your Humble Narrorator. Any of you malchickiwicks have any thoughts in their gulliver?

Clockwork Orange.
It's a book set in the near future with a completely fabricated slang that the entire book's written in. There's no explanation, so you kind of have to learn a whole new language. Go get the book from you're library and youll see what he means.

Holy son of a female canine. I thought A Clockwork Orange was a film by Stanley Kubrick, not an incoherent mass of confusing constanants.

yeah clockwork orange imdediatly makes me think of the movie with girls getting raped by a group of men who run around london

I dunno, I think a Game Mod based off of somethinng By Stanley Kubrick might have a go.

It would basically be a bunch of players being dropped into a world of police and militants, men and women, gang members and common citizens, all dressed in the heighth of fashion. Players could use a character system to band together in gangs, not more than 4 or 5, as was common then.

Those gangs, or men out on their very own, could do a number of things. They could kick back drinking milk plus, or milk with knives if they're planning for a bit of action. They could go robbing stores if they're low on cash, they could screw around with citizens not too keen on Teen slang and attacking them with your fashioned knives or your really good kickboots. Of course any action will draw the attention of the police, so they couldn't go around raping and pillaging with the police patrolling the area. Of course they could buy themselves an alibi from a couple of old chums with some liquor the the like. Or you could just spend your time drinking milk plus any number of things to make you space out and go visit 'the land', trying to communicate with God and All His Saints.

Just a small idea, any comments?

I concur on your theory and basis for a mod, but instead of just being at nite? should have a fog like twilight and dusk morning with fog as well. To keep with the some of teh settings. The story wasn't completely set at night.

You mean like how Alex got the crap beat out of him by a bunch of elderly folks in a library?

Well, it was pretty much from the mid-evening to just before dawn. No one went around shopcrasting or any of the old ultraviolence in broad daylight, especially with all the rozzpatrols about then.

It should be set more in the beginning. Before the government started recruiting droogs as millicents, and they got more brutal and larger in numbers.
