70s The Matrix Thread

I would play this and kiss it and sleep with it forever.

Kind of like Interstate 72 meets The Matrix... You know, a bunch of trendy dudes in [bright, terribly colourful] trenchcoats with sunglasses except most the people have afros. Some of the bad guys can look like dorky 70s people with huge glasses...

So the game would be eitehr deathmatch (not teams) or single-player, with a bunch of missions that are so screwed up they seem like they're straight out of Get Smart or something.

And how about, all headshots take two shots: The first takes off a chunk of hair, the second kills

haha love the conversation and yeah i agree that be such a cool idea, cool mod to, but yeah ambitious project maybe somday someone will do it

i like the two shot headshots first shot taking a chunk of 'fro' followed by the second shot killing them nice and dead

It's not too big of a project, no larger than any other ones going on... It doesn't need multiplayer at all, it just needs a few new player models, and new weapons and sounds. A bit more code and the rest is up to mappers, making standalone missions! Would be awesome, I'll keep it in mind for after Fniggium

would be really cool to mod the kung fu mod for max payne

This is 70s the Matrix, sans Kung Fu.

No Kung Fu.

Just guns, suits, fros, and maybe bullet time.

edit: Unless you can mod Enter the Matrix? I doubt it, it's a console port...

You kidding me? The hard part would be to capture both matrix and 70s style into the animations, but even I could model for this.

after what cHIS said i realised i didnt know what Fniggium was (i do now please dont kill me) and i followed the link, i think the reason you player modeller help wanted request is unfulfilled is because its so long... i dont think anybody would sit and read all that!! :/

by the way... how is Fniggium pronounced

hehe, im guessing its pronounsed F nigguim basicly how you would look at it and say it, or it could be a silent F but that would be stupid, only once person will know... the creator.

The f is pronounced. Its F niggium not F nigguim. It's a nonsense word and hopefully I'll have a good name for it before its released. Maybe this is my secret development codename
