2D GLSL Lighting | Locked | |

Sorry if this isn't the right place for this (first time on this site). I'm making a 2D game engine with LWJGL (so java). However my lighting system (terrible) makes half my sprite system (decent) not work, and when I make the sprite system work again, the lighting stops working. So what I need help with is learning how to do lighting and rendering textures (including potential for rotation, etc). And for the lighting, would be best to have an ambient light and a point light that you can alter color, attenuation, position, intensity, radius. And of course deferred lighting for use of multiple lights. So, who can help me out with this, I've been struggling for about a month on this, and also sorry for rambling and probably not explaining very good, I'm tired. (also before someone mentions it, yes I have looked for tutorials, but could not find any good 2d lighting tuts for what I'm looking for) |
