Personally, I'd add a bit more than just what the mod is about. Also GeoCities even has less ads that Tripod. |

yeah you could... but you might want to get people interested... make a thread about your mod, a very detailed thread, dont make it like 2 paragraphs long, no one will care about it. List as much detail abotu the mod as possible and what type of members you are looking for. --

well if you didnt have all of it planned out before you registered or made a website, that is a mistake on your part. Their are few serious mods that have just gone headfirst into a project with little or no planning. You might wanna get to work with ideas before you start working on anything --

i reccomend you get hosting from Moddb or Jacko, its better than Tripod by far -- ModDB Fucking Oldtimer and (ex) Crow |

I recommend you learn how to mod before producing anything. Or else you'll just leave yourself and everyone following the mod to a dead end.. (where most mods go anyways so you wont be alone) --

No. If you want to start your own mod, you'd want to be able to contribute in a huge significant way. Most mod leaders are doing multiple tasks, or coding. A lot of the successful mods you see never had people in the team devoted to concepts. |

how comes a lot of mod leaders are just pr guys then? -- Join the Cold War: Reborn team! |
