MESSAGE TO DINOHUNT CORP. RECONNAISSANCE AND RESEARCH TEAMS

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

During our exploration of planet FMM UV-32, we have made a considerable effort to document and scientifically describe some of the more common creatures to be found here. Despite this, there are many more creatures still waiting to be discovered, and there are many sightings of undocumented alien life.

This report serves to briefly document noteworthy reports of these cryptic species, with hopes of encouraging further inquiry into these enigmatic creatures.

The rocky islands which dot the coastlines of the eastern continent are a prime spot for a future hunting reserve, and also have their fair share of enigmatic herbivores.

Numerous surveyors have reported sightings of large, Parasaur-like dinosaurs here. Unfortunately the descriptions of these sightings seem unclear, with the coloration being reported as both a pale blue and a marshy green. Fortunately, a collection of bones have been found which may belong to this creature, though they are badly damaged by the carnivore which consumed them.

There are also a number of reports regarding an armored creature inhabiting these islands. Notably, a reconnaissance team leader claims to have shot one of these creatures, only for the bullet to ricochet off its armored hide. The size, coloration, and general stature of these aliens varies by the sighting, suggesting this creature may actually be two separate species.

The deep jungles which grow on these warm islands are well known for their volcanic activity, and are undoubtedly home to a variety of large creatures which can hide from prying eyes within them.

There are numerous reports of a deeply built, bluish ceratopsian living in these jungles. Despite many sightings, all have occurred deep within the foliage, only giving us short glimpses and blurred photographs. One of our reconnaissance teams reports shooting at one of these creatures, but it seemed to have little effect. It's probable that these beasts have thick hides to protect themselves from the biting arthropoid swarms which plague these islands

Beyond cryptic sightings, there have also been mysterious deaths here. The largest island is planned to become a hunting reserve in the future, and as such numerous research teams have been surveying the area. Three members of these teams have been found dead in the jungle, all with a distinctive hole in their chests. Some have blamed this on territorial Pachycephalosaurs, but the damage is unlike anything if seen from known dinosaurs. Whatever the cause, I recommend all researchers carry a sidearm at all times, and to bring back a specimen while they’re at it.

Research on the proposed archeologic-reserve has been mostly focused on the ancient structures which dot the large island. As such the biological aspect has been neglected, and its likely many creatures have gone unnoticed which would otherwise have been described by now.

There is a collection of unusual encounters here. Several xenoarchaeologists have claimed to hear unknown calls and rustling outside around their campsites. Upon investigating, the creature responsible quickly disappears into the night. This wouldn’t be particularly noteworthy if it wasn’t for a certain encounter: an archaeologist claims to have caught a glimpse of the animal as it fled, reporting that it ran upright on two legs. Many wild claims have been made about the identity of this creature, but it's best to wait for more evidence before jumping to conclusions.

In less wild claims, a reported sighting of a dinosaur pair deserves further inquiry. An archeologist was walking back to her camp after sunset, an action I do not recommend, and claims to have been stalked by two man-sized predators. After firing a warning shot, the pair disappeared into the woods. This could be written off as a Velociraptor encounter, but she is adamant that, in the split second of light produced by her shot, she unmistakably saw that these creatures were bulkier and greenish. Regardless of their identity, I encourage all researchers to avoid going out after dusk.

Sandy isles are rather rare along the coasts of the continent, and as such are home to a variety of unique alien life. Research regarding the largest of these islands has again been focused on archaeology, and as such much of the endemic fauna is known but officially undescribed, something which may be rectified in the coming years.

One would expect the wide, sandy plains of this island to leave few secrets, but the discovery of numerous large-footed trackways questions this notion. The creator of these footprints is unknown, and as such is expected to be nocturnal to avoid detection. What we do know is that the footprints are bipedal and, based on their similarities to other carnivores, likely belong to a large predator about the size of a Carnotaurus. Peculiarly, they bear more similarities to smaller predators, Velociraptor and Allosaurus, than to any known large carnivores.

There are some truly incredible islands here, and few are as diverse as the fractured waterways created by ancient volcanos. The environments on these islands are extremely varied, and as such endemic species abound in these areas.

Of course, surveying an environment like this has proved difficult. The numerous watery trenches in the landscape greatly inhibit our movement there. As a result, most surveys have been conducted aerially, leaving the intricacies of the landscape and its inhabitants unknown. Any samples, photographs, or live specimens of the creatures which inhabit these islands are welcomed. Of particular interest are the large sauropodiformes which stomp across the lush plains and fertile swamplands.

Perhaps the harshest ecosystem on the continent lies in the valley of an ancient meteor impact site. This environment has been similarly harsh to our researchers, and expeditions have been frequently dislodged by extreme weather and alien incursions. As such, the area remains largely unknown to us.

Researchers and surveyors have often come to me to complain about the open plains of the valley. This is for a simple reason; it makes it hard to spot aliens from a distance before they can spot you. As a result we have a plethora of blurry dinosaur sightings, most of which are likely well known species. But there is one oddity; a horned ceratopsian. It could be easy to write these off as misidentified Triceratops, but these reports consistently note the presence of a larger, horned frill and a distinct nose horn. Misidentification or not, we certainly need better binoculars.

Another creature has been spotted within the deep forests of the valley by several witnesses. This dinosaur is reported to be a deep bodied, bipedal theropod, though few details can be made out under the dark canopy of the woods, except the creature’s bright orange markings. This creature has been assigned responsibility for the raiding of several campsites, having become accustomed to humans much quicker than other dinosaurs. Because of this, I predict that this dinosaur will not remain hidden from the eyes of science for much longer.

It's also my responsibility to warn any future or current researchers in this area. Several people have gone missing while camped out near the crater lake, usually without a trace. It is entirely possible these disappearances could be related to drowning or other large terrestrial creatures, but be aware of the lake if you work in the valley. No one really knows what's swimming in there.

As we probe this world deeper and deeper, we will undoubtedly learn the truth behind these claims. Until then, on behalf of the DinoHunt Corporation, I am offering a cash reward to anyone with authentic information on these creatures, including photographs, samples, and dead or alive specimens. Speak to me for further details, I’m not hard to get a hold of.

That being said, do not share ghost stories or explorers tales with me and expect to be rewarded. Seeing a shadow in the trees or distant stomping is not proof of anything. I want verifiable facts.

Thank you all, Oleg Sharanov.
