1. Unpack to your Medieval_2_directory/mods
2. Play
Changes:
- includes Gold release and hotfix
- extended 1200 campaign to 1600 (was till 1550)
- pushed matchlock and pike and shot events 10-20 years later
- added some late events
- tweaked mercenaries for both campaigns
- renamed Tbilisi to Tiflis

Yep, its incompatible - but not much has changed in 1236 so you won't miss anything if you keep playing Gold+hotfix

Could you point me in the direction of some installation instructions - no read me in the download or scrolling back through articles that I could see ( although I am sure it exists and is pretty straightforward )

Do you plan on a discord or something like that to report players feedback ? I just notice a bug with the spear militia unit of egypt, they don't have the model (they are silver, something about Battle models file) and the UI (the unit card shows the default rome peasant image)
And lastly do you plan on the kalmar unit script ?

'Cuz I've checked all egyptian spear units, with all upgrades they look fine
And there will be no kalmar script, because it requires an additional faction slot

It was the egypt spear militia but i was using an old version of your mod and with the latest version everyting is okay ! Okay no problem then it's not a big deal anyway :)
I noticed that not all of the crossbowmen are shooting from the squad, but only a few, yet the AI does not react to the attack of catapults, cannons, etc, just stands

keeps crashing when opening or trying custom game
It's normal in Med2 mods if you try to go within campaign screens / custom battles or vice versa
Or run autocleaner before starting first time
