Here are the 3 recommend unofficial patches for Battlefront II in one package.
They are required for a lot of mods to work, will make several improvements and add some new features.
INSTALLATION
(I also included this guide as text file in the 7zip file)
- First unpack the 7zip file at any place you want (Desktop recommended).
- Before installing, it's highly recommend to patch your game to v1.1 with an official patch file
... they can be found beneath this paragraphs :)
(I haven't included it, because there are several versions of this patch for different regions.)
- After that run the unofficial patch v1.2 setup file ("SWBFIIv1-2_Setup_r2.exe").
- Now you can install the unofficial patch v1.3-r117 by following the Installation Guide inside its folder.
- Finally install v1.3-r129 (by simply running the setup file) and you are ready to go :D
HERE you can download the Official Patch v1.1:
- If you have the domestic version, then download this patch.
- If you have an international DVD version, then download this patch.
- If you have the German DVD version, then download this patch.
- If you have an international CD-ROM version, then download this patch.
AND OF COURSE AM I NOT THE CREATOR OF THESE PATCHES
Version 1.2 was made by RepSharpshooter and his team and v1.3 was made by Zerted and some other guys.
I downloaded the mod but it is a file and when I click it just tries to find a program that can run it(im on windows 7 and this is one of my first mod downloads) How do I fix this

It's a zip file, you need to open it with 7-zip or a similar program.
I want to remove the blue of the score on the screen please help!. How can I put the normal screen?(without the 2 spaces in blue)
For remove the blue HUD you have to go to your Battlefront II folder, then Gamedata, then DATA and click GET_RID_OF_HUD

Does this work on windows 10? I used to just use menu.bat in win7 but that won't run in win10.
there are versions of the patch that you DO NOT have the menu.bat / lite.menu.bat
the way I'm showing is much easier and much more simple, though.
Thanks. I actually just got fed up and reinstalled the patch with the HUD off. Dark Times II had activated it.
np :) yeah, some mods install it even if you already have it.
When I change resolution to 1920x1080, the instant action UI is merged together, with the mode settings (Global, Hero, Conquest, etc.) over the session map and game details; so I can't click on some of the maps. Can anyone help me with this?

buenas! los parches estos activan un contorno de color en la interfaz mientras estoy jugando (que rodea las armas y te muestra tu vida y la del objetivo) la verdad me parece muy molesto porque no me permite ver la pantalla al completo y no pude evitar observar que en los gameplays no esta. como lo desactivo?

The patches these activates a color contour in the interface while I am playing (that surrounds the arms and shows you your life and the one of the objective) the truth seems to me very annoying because it does not allow me to see the whole screen and I could not avoid to observe that In the gameplays is not. How do I deactivate it?

I own the v1.3 R117 Full-Patch (this is the one with the visual fixes and improvements! - unlike the R117 Lite-Version!) and the v1.3 R129 Patch (that followed the R117 Patch).
The R129 version is the final version of the unofficial v1.3 patches and doesn't include the visual fixes and improvements anymore (only 5,55MB in size).
Does anybody know if it's possible to combine this two patches?
First install the R117 one, once it's done install the R129 ;)
If you installed first R117, R129 will keep the visual improvements.

Hey, i have a question:
I have installed die patch v1.3 but don´t like the new HUD v1.2.
Furthermore i didn´t checked the box "Use the HUD 1.2".
But, why is it still there?
Does anybody know how it's possible to geht this HUD out of my game?
I uploaded the fixed ingame.lvl from my Game without the new HUD on Mediafire.com
Just download it, go to "GameData\Data\_lvl_pc" and there you should have your "ingame.lvl". Rename that file to something like "MYingame.lvl" and then paste the new "ingame.lvl" file, you downloaded from my MediaFire link in your "_lvl_pc" folder.
Than run your game and look, if it has worked :D
If it didn't worked, then please PN me here on ModDB and I will help you finding a solution ;)

Which version of Battlefront II are you using? The Steam release, the GOG release or the DVD version?

When I tried it, it removed all aspects of the 1.3 patch, including the ability to play mods (which is kind of the point of the 1.3 patch).
Do I install the 1.2 patch in the common\Battlefront II\GameData\DATA folder like the 1.2 installer says or in the common\Battlefront II folder like the 1.3 installer says?
Just do as the setups tell you ;)
wheni downloaded it every thing was fine then i when i hit i the install it started up and started to install then it kept saying access denied then i ran as admin and it said the file were not in there! when i had created thpse folders it work when not running admin but then it says access denied pls help

When I redownloaded the installer and tried again, it thinks I have not enough storage to accomplish the operation and something about addme.script but I have 300 gigs left.

I'm having a slight issue I'd appreciate help with, I've been following the installation steps for the patches and everything was going well until the step saying to put the folder into the 'addon' folder of the game installation, except I've looked all over in the game files and I just don't have a 'addon' folder in there, should I just manually make one? or I'm I just doing something wrong.

Yes, you have to create a folder called "addon" manually inside the "GameData" folder, if you don't have one :D
I love the mod but is there any way to get rid of that intrusive blue part added to the hud?
The simplest way is to reinstall the Patch and unchecking the box for the new HUD in the setup :D
how do i find out which 1.1 patch i should download ??
nevermind, how do i set LAN map ?
so i downloaded the files, installed all 3 properly (so it says in the 3 readmes that where added) but I'm not noticing anything different in the game such as New Weapon Models and changed units etc for the v1.3 Patch r117. Bare with me I'm a new modder but what am i missing here any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am not noticing any changes for units or weapons units are using for either era. Where do we put the 1.2 patch?
