Install steps:
Copy the contents of the ZIP file to your Quake III Arena directory (pak9tup.pk3 to BASEQ3 + pak4tup.pk3 to MISSIONPACK). All files are automatically loaded.
Wide-screen support:
1. Open the console with [^]
2. Type: /exec res1920x1080 (example)
3. Execute with [Enter]
Highest possible graphic settings:
1. Open the console with [^]

Will we be seeing new High Quality Quake updates soon, now that TUP v1.7 is out of beta?
Yes exactly. I still have some great plans. Work on HQQv1.7 has already started. Before that, TUPv1.7 had to be completed as a basis. And now it's finally done.
Wow, thank you for this. So simple to install and the graphics are superb. I played Q3 the first time around and just getting back into at the ripe old age of 51. Thanks ZerTerO for all your hard work its much appreciated.
Are these fixes already in Quake3e?
No. Quake3e is an engine and not an update. You can find more informations here: Github.com
