but....is it possibel to increase the hitpoints for the xenos? Most of them going down after a singel burst with the PR.

Everything else is perfect!

I don't think so.
aliens hitpoint is quite enough.
because, marine's hitpoints is also set to low.
so, aliens attack damage is became more deadly.
marines are dead in 2~3 hit by aliens.
in multiplay, it's a good balance.
Even in the movie, they are weak at PR too.

Yeah right....on MP is it perfect!

I think I played too much the SP. :-)

I know were the aliens are come from and point the PR automaticly to this areas. :-)

The hitpoint from the marines are great. How it should be. Now the acid makes some damage too.

I hope agastuma finds a way to speed up (a littel) the aliens. :-)

I do not agree. Bughunt is a walk in the park on badass. Aliens are to slow and you can always see them coming. Killing them is just a matter of reflexes. Ammo management becomes less critical and the only thing you need to worry about is acid. But then again, you accumulate so much money that buying some health from time to time is a non-issue.

I think Aliens should have more health, at least 0.5x or 1.0x the current amount.

even the bug hunt, 15~20 round after, alien's hitpoint is more ticker then first 1~10 round. they need to 40 or 50 bullets hit to kill. and in 25~30 round, they are really hard to kill. (this result is also emerged with this mod)

Try the CilitbängPack v.1.8 or set the ACM.exe to admin. And rebooting shoud be history. (It´s actually a Steamclient bug)

Great mod! Love the Mk I pulse rifle. The game is now ridiculously difficult! But in a good way!

Hi Agatsuma. First of all, thanks a lot for your efforts. This mod, combined with Cilitbäng's Pack really made the game a lot better, and closer to what the film is all about.

I know working on these things takes a lot of time and energy, I even tried myself with little success, but since I read that maybe you will release another version of this, and perhaps with the damn MERCS gone, I would like to share with you some suggestions, ideas I came with while playing Bug Hunt.

1- Personally, I find the Mercs ruining the whole Alien experience, I would love to see all of their spawns gone, and replaced instead with Xenomorphs, not just some of them.

2- How do you feel about also removing the Alien Spitters from Bug Hunt? Maybe, once the mod is finished, a parallel version with this could be created? I dislike them for two reasons, one, I find them a bit game breaking, I want the xenos to come hunt me on melee, this is just my personal preference though, and others may not agree; and second, often they get stuck, basically, they spit at you from a place where they will only hit a wall or ceiling, their pathfinding isn't that great and this forces you to go out and hunt them instead; which also ruins the atmosphere for me.

I am continuing this post below, due to characters limitations.

3- You know those Red Xs or hit marks that show up whenever you shoot an opponent? I think it would be great to be able to get rid of them without having to press F1 or F6 and get rid of the whole HUD, I do that currently, but for Bug Hunt, it's often necessary to check on how money you have, and also, I think the HUD for the Smartgun is alright, it doesn't feel out of place; since you are tracking the Aliens after all.

4- Final suggestion, it would be perfect if there was a way to remove the "Money Sound", that occurs in Bug Hunt after you make a kill, for me it really destroys the immersion, I find this to be another screw up from the developers, more than anything, we all want to hear the Aliens screaming and hissing in pain, not a cash register; heh.

OK, those are the suggestions I can think of right now, again, I know it's a lot of work, I just wanted to mention these, probably you've thought of several of them already, maybe they can't even be modded.

One question for the whole community, does anybody play Bug Hunt? I would love to go COOP with someone, even if it's on the campaign, so far I haven't had the pleasure.

Hi Bundy77,

all this things you can´t do with "hex.editing". Agatsumas mod is based on hex editing.

Hex editing is really hard way to mod a game, it drives me insane.

I still play A:CM / BH (moded). But as standalone, without steam on a local lan, via hamachi.

Hey Cilitbäng. Thanks for your reply, and also for your work which I enjoy very much.

I feared as much :/. I remember editing an old roguelike game using a hex editor and it was hell indeed, heh. Shame so many years have passed and we still don't have the game Alien fans deserve.

My game crashes with this mod.

On launch, it crashes to the desktop with the message
"Aliens Colonial Marines has stopped working"

Drivers are up to date and The crashes only happen with this mod installed.

Any chance of a fix?

Ok I believe I found the issue.

If anyone here is having appcrash issues ( Aliens colonial Marines has stopped working ) after installing the mod, do this.

Go to Steam\SteamApps\common\Aliens Colonial Marines\PecanGame\CookedPCConsole and DELETE the file "PecanGame.upk.uncompressed_size"

The Mod author didn't mention this in the Readme but I've just sussed it out.
