Starship Troopers : Source MP Beta .02 download

Not really a cut throat MP BETA yet. Still in Alpha, we are testing connectivity issues, addressing and fixing these issues as well as already integrated the federation models. We are working on the civilian models now. As well as many weapons and maps.  UPDATED FIX, fixs some issues and MP bugs.

WARNING!
This is BETA software. Infact, it hasn't even made it to a BETA level yet. It is in Alpha. This is just the MP Shell, with all necc files to run the source engine along with a few test maps and Federation Soldier Models loaded in. Teamplay or Regular DeathMatch is an option right now.

In the future I will be releasing updates to this shell core wich will simply be a .zip file which once extracted will show various folders, just drag and drop them over into this shell's MP SourceMod folder. Overwriting each folder/file, etc. Easy =). So if you want, you could download this and keep it and in the near future update it with more models, weapons, maps, etc. Coming in the next few weeks =).

*If testing the server, ENABLE the developer console. (i.e. Options > Keyboard > Advanced > Enable Developer Console)

Then hit the " ~ " key and type in " mp_teamplay 1 " without quotes of course and that will enable teams and auto balance them out.
" mp_teamplay 0 " For Free-For-All/DeathMatch.

Bots will automatically load upon creating or loading any map in this alpha shell build. If you wish for them to not load, type in " hrcbot_enable 0 ".
If you go live with a server, it is ok to have these bots loaded, as they will automatically quit the game, the more LIVE people that join in.

We're going to be including Hurricane Bots with our MP Version of the mod, to have comforts just like the bots in Counter Strike : Source. Which the community can maintain the bots different waypoints for the various maps. We'll eventually get around to making a GUI to control the bots options, behavior, etc.

No servers are up yet but you could create one and have it sit online for fun testing. Nothing much to look at here though as not too much is completed yet. Soon though, the excitement will be in full effect, once some weapons models are done, etc.

Don't complain, this is up for certain people. I have put it up for everyone but really its just up for a select few individuals, as we work together to correct some problem. So, if you want to waste some bandwidth just to see what you can view in the videos, be our guest. Expect nothing good =) lol. As we're still young and fresh. About 2 weeks old?
