Version 1.0 of the "Star Wars: Ancient Fears" Mod for Distant Worlds: Universe.
The Mod is set 15 years after "Episode VI: Return of the Jedi" and includes a Prebuilt Map, Star Wars Characters, Races, Ships, Flagshapes, Planets and Stations, and a New Soundtrack from the Star Wars movies and other epic SciFi Videogames.
HOW TO INSTALL THE MOD:
Important: You don't have to also install the "Distant Worlds Extended" Mod to use this Mod.
Star Wars: Ancient Fears is absolutely self-sufficient!
Important: This Mod is for "Distant Worlds: Universe", and it probably won't work with previous versions of the game.
1. Unzip the file.
2. Put the folder named "Star Wars Ancient Fears" inside " C:\Program Files (x86)\Slitherine Ltd\Distant Worlds Universe\Customization\ " ( The path could be different if you installed DW:Universe in another location or if you installed it via Steam )
3. You're done!
4. Now open the game and go to CHANGE THEME.
5. Click on the "Star Wars Ancient Fears" mod, then click on "Switch Theme" and wait.
6. Click on START NEW GAME, choose your favourite faction, and click on 'Play Selected Galaxy and Faction'.
7. Enjoy!

You don't have to install the mod "Distant Worlds Extended"!
This mod is absolutely self-sufficient.
Just put the folder "Star Wars Ancient Fears" out of the zip file and into the "Customization" folder inside you DW:Universe installation path ( usually it's "C:\Program Files (x86)\Slitherine Ltd\Distant Worlds Universe\Customization" ).
Then follow the steps and play the game.

ok i already write a comment in SUMMARY, so ill put here again. I have done all u said but when i changed the theme everthing was the same, nothing star wars.
i know now what i did wrong i didn´t install the distant worlds universe, i tryt(?) in distant world with no expansion. Now everthing works. Sugestions the sith race you could put the faces of the star wars the old republic. You could create a scnario where the history of the star wars universe the rakata ruling a large parts of the galaxy ( i know that they had a special technology were they used the force to use hyperdrive tech u could put there). U should put special relics of the star wars universe i know that there were races in star wars that create planets or special wonders. Maybe u could put the opcion to create the death star and other special weapons. Create maybe specific goverments to specific races. Hope i help with sugestions =) and bugs not very good at seeing them but if i catch one i surely will tell u. ( sorry for bad english) keep the good work =D
I'm glad you managed to install it and play it, and thanks for the suggestions :)
I hope to add many of the things you said in future releases. I already tried with ancient relics, like the Star Forge or the ancient Sith Tombs, but the game didn't like it and bugged me out. New Weapons and Governments are a little hard to mod, but I'll try for sure.
In the next releases you can expect new Maps and Scenarios (like the Old Republic and/or the Clone Wars), new characters (Revan and his friends first and foremost), new Races (like the Togruta and the Ewoks), and hopefully new appropriate troop images.
