Apparently abandoned by its original creator for a remake, most game developers or modders don´t have the courtesy to reupload their WiP or Legacy Work, it´s already bad enough people need to monkstyle archive classics like this before they get lost forever.

I remember this and apparently, it looks like the dev for this game doesn't have it anymore for download except here.
I like this mod, but I believe it is half compatible for the latest GZdoom.
Not if someone fan patch the game or make a addon to make it fully playable,
as I tried it on v4.8.2, the game "crash" as you'll get kicked
into the console menu saying something about the weapons issues
when you switch to another weapon.
I remember trying it with Delta a few weeks ago .it worked afair correctly .gonna test it again later and if so .post an update

Ohhh. Those are 2 distinct mods ? I thought we're talking about the remake .now it makes sense .
So that remake isn't finished and this one here only works with 2.3 .damn .not even 3.2 ?
I only have 1.9 ,3.2 ,3.8 ,4.8.2
And lz 3.88b (maybe it works here ? )
It works with 3.2 .no crashes for now .weapons can be changed and fired .
But it's impossible to play on mobile even on my Snapdragon 888 /16gb ram phone .

On the first boss the game drops to 15-20 FPS, but indoors everything is stable
