I am often on your forum and see a bunch of different mods
but most of them under the old version of the game mowas
I have got the Chinese "Rescue" mission to work
(after fixing 4 mod file errors).
I like how your mod has Chinese soldier voices :o)
Mission Objectives do not show when when press letter "O" on keyboard.
Do Chinese use Karabiner 98k rifles;
When you put cursor on the rifle in their inventory that is what it says.
Or should it read type89 zhidan or type zhong zheng ?
So it's everything in the mod and not certain parts, I checked the games files and there similar to mine so why wouldn't they work. I ran the mod myself without the editor and it works.
Another one will create an error. It might be you not using Steam .I've never seen Steam causing compatibility issues but it might be it. I would tell you to try to get assistance in the DMS forums but it's currently down due to piracy attacks.
That's not the problem, the problem was that this version was for the retail version and not the latest patch. I fixed all those problems and am now working on the last few missions.
Yea I fixed all the problems, the mod was in retail version stage and not patched as there is slight differences between both for the units files and such. I fixed them up and it works now so good.
Well I created a bunch of background images to go with the missions so that set me back some time, anyhow I have done all those and the only thing left is the last Japanese Mission and fixing some stuff in the missions.
Yes I did, but it is agonizing to wait that long, I know I'm impatient, but im only impatient because the content is in our hands, it just doesn't work :/. If its anything, please just upload the fix so we can play this mod and wait in anticipation for the full release.

I don't get why there would be errors as I am playing it on Assault Squad and have run into no problems.

I'm not going to run this mod in the editor - it will spoil everything related to the game

download your mod and try to run

Just tried that and it still works.
The only errors coming from the set folder I've ever seen are compatibility errors. Are you using steam, Pearse?
No im not using steam, I personally don't like using it, try deleting the file which has the error and see what happens.

Yea it's been down the past couple weeks or even a month plus, it's possibly me not using steam but I don't really know.

Yea im working on fixing the mod for current patch so that will take a while, I have finished 5 Chinese Missions and 4 Japanese so that's good.

Long reply back oops, anyway what was in this version was only a few missions out of the 14 so it wasn't everything.
How do you put the rar files into the game?
