Runescape Total War Beta
As I do not work on this mod I decided to patch up some things here and there to release the content lacking from the alpha to you guys. This new content includes more units, animations and a campaign map but still somewhat unfinished... so please do not spam me with requests to fix Y or Z as I have stopped the development almost a year ago!
Overall the mod runs smoothly, only a creature like Nex may crash the game on some computers. I hope for those who waited it will still be a nice mod to enjoy.
Steam instal instruction:
1) Extract the download to '...\Steam\steamapps\common\Rome Total War Alexander\alexander\'
2) open properties in steam
3)go to start up settings (not sure if it is the exact name in english version of steam) and add the line:
'-mod:alexander/runescape -show_err'
DISC instal instruction:
1) Extract the download to '...\Rome Total War\alexander\'
2) make a shortcut to the alx.exe
3) open properties of the shortcut with left clicking the shortcut
4) In the target line enter after what is already written:
-mod:alexander/runescape -show_err
Credits:
animations - Wlesmana from the LOTR TW for 2handed spear and sword animations, KurdishNomad for flying Icyene animations
music - Jagex ltd
units and environment - made by jagex ltd textured and rigged by KurdishNomad, unit cars, sprites etc by KurdishNomad as well
loading screens - mostly runescape wallpaper by jagex, others by fans or Hector
UI - Made by KurdishNomad using Jagex' assets
Banners and Symbols - Made by Hector
The credit for inspiration to make this for the design etc. is ofcourse Jagex' for making an awesome fantasy universe and game! This is a fan project and we do not ask for money in anyway to profit on any assets from either CA or Jagex.

crashes on startup
You need to have it installed for alexander, does it give any error message?
no followed the installation to the letter,it just closes a few seconds after the splashscreen shows up,all my other alexander mods work normally i have no idea what causes this
I had this issue with Avatar.. The issue can be if the vanilla-game is no longer vanilla, as in if its been modded with for example Roma Surrectum II, or it could be an issue if the vanilla game with expansions do not run properly.
Try starting Alexander and see if it runs. If not maybe re-install everything.
i dont do non mod fodlered mods
It's because of the CD being used.
The mod works fine with Steam, but if you use the CD it's going to crash after the splash-screen - this could be the fact that package-files come unpacked with Steam but not with the CD.
I'm not certain though. But I also crash with the CD.
