A complete gameplay, faction and graphical update mod for Ground Control 2. Rebalances all of the factions and allows you to play as the Terran Empire in the campaign, skirmish or multiplayer.
Instructions
1) Make sure your game is patched to 1.0.0.8.
2a) Unzip all of the mod files (.bat and .sdf) from the Reversal Mod folder in the addon .zip into your Ground Control 2 root directory, e.g. C:\Games\GC2. The mod files must be in the root directory to function!
2b) OPTIONAL: Install any of the addons included with the mod in the Addons folder. Each addon has its own Readme file with specific instructions.
3) Start the game using either one of the .bat files included (All you have to do is double click on one, like an .exe) or through a shortcut with the appropriate command line added.
More information regarding setup, multiplayer and the AI is included in the Readme file.
I'll just repeat myself and say that I always wanted to play as Terrans, and this mod was that dream come true for many years, to the point that Terrans are my favorite to play, because mechs and legionnaires are awesome. Thank you once again.

HI! how do I install the patch 1.0.0.8?
Good question actually, the patch is about the only thing I didn't package into this release. You can try the 1007 to 1008 patch on moddb which I'll link below, but let me know if that doesn't work and I'll see about uploading it. The patch file I have on my hard drive is 1006 to 1008 and it does the job just fine, but doesn't seem to be available for download on its own anymore. Anyways, here's the first one to try: Moddb.com
This mod is SO awesome! The ability to play as the Terrans is SICK especially since you can play the campaign as them! the AI rework for skirmish is great and it allows you to configure what kind of battle you want. Want a infantry heavy engagement? Want to have a massive air battle going on why you lead your ground forces praying that your side achieves air supremacy while you march on the objective? now you can! and that's not to mention all the fun to be had from the map pack! the island difference mission in particular, is EPIC! Especially because they are all supported by the mod!

Hello, all right, the Reversal 4 and 5 mod do not work, my operating system is Windows 10, every time I start the .bat it simply does not enter, or does not even open, when I add the command to the Ground Control shortcut 2, in the destination when loading the map opens and closes the map in the "load game",the command and this "start gcii.exe -mod gc2reversal4.sdf" it is simply not opening in Windows 10 and 11
Things to check: 1) The .bat file (and the mod .sdf files) are all in the same directory as the game's executable ( gcii.exe ). 2) The game is patched to 1.0.0.8. 3) Will the game run without the mod? If you just start up gcii.exe with no command line options does it work? If not, the issue is with the game and not the mod in particular. You may also want to 4) Try running the game As Administrator if you haven't already. You may need to use the custom shortcuts instead of the batch files for that, and on that note make sure you're just adding the -mod *** line to the end of the Target field. Don't try to put Start into a shortcut, that's just for the batch file.
I tried all these steps I already solved Reversal v5 but version 4 is still giving errors even with these steps done.

Yes, the mod is in the same directory as the game and my version is 1.0.0.8 of the game, even in administrator mode, the Reversal Version 4 did not work, and in my old machine with Windows 7, all versions worked perfectly
