At you Documents. Find Red Alert 3 file. If don't you see the file play a game. If you only see "replays" then make a file name it "Mods"
this Remix mod didn't just have a file with it. So you can't just Copy and paste it. For this you need to make a file just for the mod.
Make a file for the Mod and name it Remix for easy understanding what mod it is. then copy paste whatever in this mod.
It should look like this (Note this Retail)
C:\Users\User\Documents\Red Alert 3\Mods\Remix
Sorry if I'm adding myself to the conversation, but I'd like to ask if there are other steps to do in order to make it work cause I follow your guide and when I run the game nothing happens, its still the vanilla version of the game.
Holy crap this mod is awesome. The battles feel a lot more grander and you can almost feel the impact of each explosions from V4 rockets or tank shells. You can also play campaign with it, though because of the modifications, its impossible to play most missions, example would be the first soviet mission, the Kirov blowing up messes up the bullfrogs launching and Natasha gets stuck across the river, or the second allied mission where the spies are detected by the tesla coils.
Hello knightvvv, I have a few wishes and suggestions for the mod after playing it for myself and watching some of your videos. First of all I noticed that I couldn't unlock more than five top secret protocols for all factions which is really annoying because of how innovative they are and how a match is heavily influenced by how you use them. So I'd like if you could get more in a single game especially because some are out right better than others for example the allies' surveillance sweep vs the ion cannon, why waste a point on a convenient ability when I can wait and unlock a superweapon equivalent? If having too many powerful top secret protocols per player is the concern then to balance this I suggest making one's tailored towards killing units weaker requiring you to use them in conjunction with other protocols to acheive the same effect. Ability like the Soviets orbital downpour and the previously mentioned ion cannon can have a smaller area of effect to accommodate that the player will also have their own super weapons and other protocols. A huge fundamental complaint about red alert 3's gameplay is that you can obliterate an enemy's base without sending in ANY units because of the top secret protocols each faction gets. But with the mods new protocols that now include not only the old "press button to win" abilitys and ones that boost your army's effectiveness being forced to pick five basically discriminates agaisnt players who favor haveing less dustructive protocols. I hope you take my rant into consideration for the next update and just know I'm only complaining because I really do love this mod and want it to be better and even if you dont listen to what I have to say I'll still keep playing. I've also posted this same comment on your most recent youtube video in the hopes that it gets seen.
