This is the latest version of Real Cars for GTA-SA. A lot of bugs have been fixed and this is the most stable version yet. The palm trees are now fixed and a lot of tweaks have been made in this version. It´s possible to play the game GTA-SA v1.01 EU support. It means that you are available to play the game in full-HD and some bugfixes from Rockstar that is included in the new version of curse. This Real Cars version will automatically install v.1.01 of GTA-SA in order to work. NOTE: This installation will also work with the STEAM-version of GTA-SA. How to install: For STEAM users. Just run the setup and select your GTA San Andreas game folder located in, \Steam\SteamApps\common\Grand Theft Auto San Andreas and wait for the setup to be finished.
NOTE! When you install Real Cars to Steam it will downgrade the game version from 3.00 to 1.01 in order to work properly with the plugins. If you are trying to load saved games that was saved before the mod was installed it will not work because of the downgrade. Please read the readme...
About the steam library gta-sa.exe launch, it will not work. Because there is a second gta_sa.exe that the mod is using. Use that one or the desktop shortcut or make a shortcut in your game library on steam.

is there a big difference between steam version 3 and the retail version of san andreas?
Is it just steam stuff ,that is the reason for it being version 3.
or is the steam version better in some way?

after installing this mod, distance texture suddenly become low res but texture near the player is good. is this normal?
no that is not normal. check your graphic settings.

Thank you! It´s easier if you install the mod in a custom folder on your desktop or something... You don´t need GTA-SA to install it.

Thank you! Some cars are tuneable in some small ways. but the problem with finding that out is to try modify the car part and risking a game crash.
Indeed, most of the cars are customizable. From my experience, you can safely make any modifications to the cars, provided that you do not alter their physical appearance. So any modification (except color, wheels, paint job and hydraulics) that might alter the car's physical aspect is a crash risk.
That being said, I'm really enjoying the gaming experience brought by this mod. Keep up the good work! :D

Okey, let´s see what the problem is.
1# Make sure you have a clean install of GTA-SA.(also make sure there is no folder with saved settings or saved games in your documents folder)
2# Other mods and apps have a tendency to crash the game.(like cleo)
3# If you are using STEAM make sure you installed the mod correctly.(\Steam\SteamApps\common\Grand Theft Auto San Andreas)
AND use the desktop shortcut and NOT the one in STEAM.
