Description
Version 1. Small gameplay mod for Q2. Makes weapon switching much faster and allows you to cancel out of the chaingun/hyperblaster cooldown animations. To install copy, q2turbo folder to where your Quake 2 executable is. Run Quake with "+set game q2turbo" or enter "set game q2turbo" in-game. Includes 32 and 64 bit binaries for Windows and a 64 bit binary for Linux (not tested). Confirmed working with Yamagi, original Quake2 and Quake2 RTX. Based on Yamagi 8.20 source.

Thank you so much for this mod! It works perfectly in Yamagi QUAKE2.
The game should be run with: +set game q2turbo and not with: "+set game q2turbo" otherwise it will not work. However, It doesn't work with Quake2 mission packs The Reckoning, Ground Zero, Zaero and Quake2 Unseen. Even when i put +set game q2turbo in the shortcut. What am I doing wrong? Can this be fixed?
This version won't work unfortunately. But I can make versions for The Reckoning and Ground Zero
