BO2 already has bots, but I wouldn't mind in the future if there's a way to even improve it.

WOW! I also tested this on DLC Maps (Oasis/Erosion etc) and it's working!!

To mute Bot Chatter:

Bring down the console menu (~ key) then type "bots_main_chat 0" = Remove All Bot Chatter (Compatible with ALL Bot Warfare Mods as well).

Also, previous Bot Warfare had a "Bots.txt" file that lets you rename bots.

How do you rename bot player names in this new version?

it works great! thanks for that man. the only issue i have is that when the match has ended and i got my bonus, i go back in to the lobby but then it crashes. after i restart it works good again. but i love this mod <3
btw. do you think like a "bot warfare" or in general just playing against bots and ranking up and earning stuff like in public matches would be working for black ops 2 aswell? i mean since plutonium bo2 got a mod support, i would love to see this :)

INeedBots if your planning on making a version for black ops 2, i have a question about if its easier to make a version from scratch or making it for a call of duty with bots already in it. ie:modern warfare 3 which has no bots or black ops 2 which has bots already in it.

I just hopped onto plutomniom t6 to play bots for fun and they took it out and now you have too create a server and go through all those stupid steps just to play bots.... i hope that INeedBots will make the bot warfare mod for t6 cause this blows

love this mod man, complete game changer, when will there be support for dlc maps?

This mod is really neat and would love to play it. However, I'm currently facing problems where my games lag like crazy and I ping all over the place, even though I'm playing on a private match with no one but myself and my ping is low (around 10-20).

Is there a workaround to this?

bro i stg if someone gave us an older repository or version of plutonium files. not just the exe, i would appreciate it. the current plutonium files dont work with reshade even if it can be played offline using the older exe from the author of this mod. i really want to customize my shader of the game just with me playing by myself offline.

Hello developer. Please help me. I installed the mod using a bat file, but when I create a room, the bot menu doesn't pop out. Please help me 😭

This mod is MW3's saving grace. I love it, in fact I bought the map packs that nobody plays just because I can set up bot matches with this mod. It's great, the best bot mod around I love the chat imitating real players, and the bots just behave better too I feel. However, there is a big issue on Plutonium. After every match, it throws me back to the main menu. If I click on "Private Match" to setup a new game, the Plutonium client simply crashes. Is there any hope for a fix?

PSA: If you want to change the bot names to sound more like real players' gamertags instead of just "a b c d...", here's what you got to do.

1) Open your Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 directory (or wherever you put the "Bot Warfare" folder you downloaded).

2) Open the "Bot Warfare" folder.

3)Inside you will see a file called "z_svr_bots.iwd"

4)Select this file, right click, click 7zip, click Open Archive. (7zip is required program to do this. It's free and easy to install).

5) Now, inside this file, there is a txt file called "bots.txt" This contains the list of all bot names that will load in-game. Just replace them with whatever names you like, keeping each name on its own line.

6) Save the .txt file and close it. 7zip will then say the file has been modified, would you like to update it in the archive? Click yes. Now close 7zip.

7)Finally, run install.bat. This batch file simply copies this updated z_svr_bots.iwd file into the Plutonium directory.

Alternatively, you could have simply edited the z_svr_bots.iwd file located in Plutonium directly, then there is no need to run install.bat.

The file location for this is C:\Users\[your_user]\AppData\Local\Plutonium\storage\iw5

For the developer of this mod, I would like to bring a bug to your attention. When the bots say, "I love this gun," or "I hate this map," rather than saying "I love the AK-74u," they'll say, "I love iwd_ak74u." Similarly, rather than saying, "Underground sucks," they'll say, "mp_underground sucks."

It's weird that it's saying the name of the map name in game files rather than the actual name of the map. It is slightly immersion breaking. Is there a way to fix this?

Can anyone help? For some reason, my bots stopped talking in the chat, I changed the settings through the console. Everyone doesn't want to. And for some reason, after using a heavy landmine, the game starts to lag very hard.

How do I edit the bot names? I tried editing the text file that says bots and reinstalling it but that didn't change anything. Also is there an option to maybe permanently turn off the chat?
