This light version of the mod Noir York City for Max Payne 1 contains ONLY the new SKYBOX TEXTURES and CUSTOMIZED FOG VALUES.
So, unlike the normal version of the mod, this Skybox ONLY version does NOT change :
- The bad textures on the buildings exteriors and interior.
- It does NOT remove the ugly 2D yellow buildings which can bee seen near the Aesir Corporation buildings in the last levels (because theses 3D buildins aren't contained in the skybox file).
- It does NOT adds the new liberty statue textures (it is also NOT contained in the skybox files but in the level files with the normal textures).
- It does NOT replace the water textures.
- It doesn't contain the gameplay changes.
But most of the distant 2D buildings at the horizon are replaced, as they are part of the skybox. Like indicated above, the only exceptions to this are the 2D yellow buildings which surround the Aesir HQ in the last mission of the game : Because they aren't part of the skybox nor the skyline (note that the main version of the mod fixes this, since it also edit the normal textures). And also the Liberty Statue.
Also, by installing only the skybox, the map borders may still be visibles in the 2 dock maps, which isn't the case if you install the full version of the mod.
