This mod has stopped development, but amazingly has continued development on another ModDB page. Here is the download though for v1.0
This is Mass Effect at War v1.0. The .rar file is to be extracted on your desktop. You will see a folder named "Mass_Effect" that is a folder, not a rar file.
*This has only been tested with the GOLD version in STEAM for the Corruption DLC.
The following instructions to get the mod working may only work if you have the GOLD version and the Corruption DLC as said above. It will work through STEAM and has simple easy instructions.
"C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Star Wars Empire at War\corruption\Mods" should be the folder where you extract the rar file of Mass_Effect. If there is no Mods folder, create one. Once extracted to the Mods folder, proceed.
When you see inside your Steam Library, and right_click on Star Wars: Empire at War Gold, click Properties. Click on Set Launch Options and paste "steam MODPATH=mods\Mass_Effect"
You CANNOT start Mass Effect at War with a desktop icon. Instead, you must go into Steam and click play, where you will click Forces of Corruption, instead of Star Wars: Empire at War Gold.

it says exption then i alt tab and it crashes after askiing to debug the mod folder. help please
Doesn't work for me,but i didn't install FOC with steam maybe it's the reason ?
I tried with a shortcut like the other mods and try to remplace the original files of the games with files mods, but it's doesn't work too.
Apparently, the instant I start the mod it hits an exception [I use the FOC Mod launcher made by the guy on the RAW team].
I don't know much about this stuff, but if I had to guess, there's no designated launch program? I didn't find a way to launch the mod from the folder, if I had to guess that's why there's problems.
It's should lauch fine from FOC Mod Launcher, does your path look something like this? (With C:\ replaced with your drive of course)
"C:\Program Files (x86)\LucasArts\Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption\Mods\Mass_Effect\Data"

Haven't had chance I suspect those of you who are having problems are all on PC's running 64 bit windows with more than 2GB of memory, you need to copy the xml folder in the hotfix on the end of this post into the xml folder of this mod.

Guys, if you get an exception error just delete Graphicdetails.xml in Mods/Mass_Effect/Data/xml/ and it should work now :)
