The files for our English translation of Legend Returns.
A clean version of version 1.4.22 of Call of Chernobyl is required to install Legend Returns. If you'd prefer to use an installer that already contains Call of Chernobyl, you may skip to the Installer version section below.
These files need to be installed into a single directory in order:
Before commencing installation, delete the bin folder in the directory of Call of Chernobyl, and, if it exists, the gamedata folder as well. Install the contents of Legend Returns onto Call of Chernobyl and apply the provided cumulative fix, then install the translation files.

- ui_st_screen.xml: Changed the game over message, removed a couple of unused strings
- zone_news_dead.xml: Fixed spaces in messages
- scripts:
- lootmoney.script: Translated the file and placed strings in configs\text\eng\lootmoney.xml
- LR_skills_system.script: Fixed a few string names
- monolith_event.script: Translated the script and placed them in configs\text\eng\st_dialogs_redforest.xml

i ve instaled as was told but ive got still russian language,anyone some hint?
Open (gamedata/configs/localization.ltx) file with Notepad.
If you see (language = rus) then change it to (language = eng) and save.
Or you could just do it via the options menu in the game.
I changed language to english in the localization.ltx,and in the game menu but i still have some russian text.Some missions appear like this,for example,rostok_mission_2.How can i fix this?

Wow, this looks so different from 1.4.22. For me, only some of the dialog items are in English, the rest are still in Russian. Is this still a work in progress then?
Yeah, as has been stated in the description of the mod.
Is legend returns a standalone or do you need coc first. I only ask because the source where I got it from is russian and I am not sure. I know there was a fix ((LR 0.9.1 Cumulative Fix 5.7)) ...and the torrent is downloading (or at least I hope it starts downloading, lol I should say)

No, the files are there. It may be that your video settings are too high.
I have them set roughly about where I usually do for all other stalker mods and standalones like misery, coc, lost alpha...ect. Is this one exceedingly hard of video and processing?
I dunno.
I went through settings 1 by 1 and it's when I mess with grass distance or quality that I get the CTD. I cranked everything else up and it's fine. I can live with lower grass density.
also... it's not 100% translated yet is it? I get some dialogue in russian... mostly english, makes quests harder to do though, lol

I was in the cordon and went down the ladder to the cellar and could not climb the ladder back out.

That's a problem with Call of Chernobyl in general. Thanks for the feedback, though.
Actually, it's a problem in many mods... maybe in vanilla SHOC, too.
When do you guys think a full translation will be out?
I seem to crash when trying to talk with the Medic from Sin at their Red Forest base. Also, do they even have a trader? Cause in the Sin base their dialogues are all in russian and I can't understand anything.
You can exchange sins weapons, ammo and special items for stalkers hearts.
You need to perform the first tasks to receive hearts, then you can exchange them for a 'ritual knife'.
With the knife you can dismember stalkers for organs, only if you have the skill to loot mutants
Shame I didn't really understood my objectives, hope I didn't already murder everyone else, since mutants are now my BFsF

Still big hopes for this translation to be updated, still my favorite mod for COC. Actually good, unique and original Sin.
Does Legend Returns work on a 32 bit OS?
