Thanks for the update, bots still don't use ladders correctly most of the time tho but I am happy for the fact that they aren't literal aimbots and crouch walk everywhere anymore.
Its problem with waypoints, you can edit them yourself

I don't think so. As I am playing on default maps anyway.
Dude i edited them for myself. Using the Favela for experiments. Just changed some waypoints and their direction, and bots are now climbing ladders perfectly well. You can try this if you want. Anyone can change waypoints due to easy wp editor.
If that's the case wouldn't it be easier for the author to update the ladder waypoints when they made the improvements included in this update as opposed to people like me keep asking why the bots are not using ladders correctly? This particular issue isn't new.

Hi, how can I make the maps rotate?
Hey, I know I'm a few months late but I thought I should post on how I got it working for anyone else who wanted this fixed.
The best way is to set up a local dedicated server and connect to 127.0.0.1 (localhost).
I found this guide to be helpful (first one; how to host regular server):

Ignore the port forwarding if you're just playing by yourself.
For server.cfg, add the following line at the bottom: set bots_main_firstIsHost "1". So when you connect to it, you can access the bot menu.
Hope this helps you and anyone else trying to get it working.

Hello, why can't I ever change my kilstreaks? They just switch back to where they were before when I try to change them.
Bot's aim is inaccurate in 3rd Person Team Tactical mode. Bot aim sideways not aim direct on my head. Is this going to be fixed?

Great update! The bots move like real players now! One issue im having is a major stutter/framedrop when there are bots on the map, ill be at 333 fps all smooth, ill add 11 bots, then my fps drops to 294 but it feels like its 30! Is there a fix? Thanks!

Running a local dedicated server and connecting to it instead of a local private match will solve this
i'm just letting you know that there is a bug with seatown while playing CTF the bots can not go around the corner of the libary at the end of the map where the SAS flag is. they get stuck on the corner

I am also receiving this script compile error when starting the match, just after the map loading screen. I've reinstalled a couple of times, tried older versions of bot warfare but nothing solves this. Any suggestions on what might be causing this?
i tried to search in youtube and found this video Youtube.com
this worked but the bots is very stupid i think it's old version
they are terrible, I've been using bot warfare forever, it only happened when downloading this version and all the older versions give the same error too..

After 9 months, I think I found a solution to fix this problem. Use the iw4x offical website and download the full game. Don't use the steam verison or any youtuber.
I've just managed to solve the script compile error by uninstalling the game, and instead downloading the FULL GAME from the IW4X site rather than using the steam version of the game. Mod is now working.

Make sure to check out comments, "IneedGames" commented that creating and playing on your own dedicated server removes the lag which I can confirm. But setting it up and change map and gamemodes all the time isn´t comfortable

its still easier than what cod4x offers, at least X-Labs supports this mod and gives you some premade configs to work with

Yes, open the game directory -> /mods/bots and then open with winrar or winzip "z_svr_bots". Once u did so u can see a bots.txt, that's where u can write the bots names
help i have problems with the bot, I try it with different maps, reinstalled it a couple of times, and the bots aren't moving. they're just standing, and only meleeing when you get close.
