Increases default fps limit, Read the text file that comes with the mod for information before asking a question.
Installation:
Replace the original exe file in your game folder.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData\ is the default folder for steam version. (Create a copy of the original file if needed)
Rename the file you want to use to exactly "BattlefrontII" like the original .exe file. (Steam doesn't like different exe names)
- If you play offline singleplayer only, you can use whatever frame rate you want.
- If you play online I recommend you use 120 fps or 144 fps exe if you don't know what you're doing. If you do know what you're doing, read below.
Important: If your PC is capable of running the game at very high framerate without any fps drops, you can use 240+ FPS exe but if your fps drops or is not constant (any other number) you will suddenly start lagging. This is sort of a bug when playing with very high frame rates online. So only use when your pc can handle the framerate easily, example, you want to use 240 fps and your pc can run the game at 300 fps on all maps, then you won't have any problems with it.
Some framerates start lagging for whatever reason, 240,315,365,495 fps are good and don't lag as long as your frame rate won't drop, it's useful to monitor your fps while playing. So if your pc is good enough to play the game at steady 240+ FPS with zero drops, you can play it online as well without issues.
If you want to try different custom frame rate you can use programs to set max fps to your game such as nvidia control panel, rivatuner statistics...
Files in the main folder are for Steam version of the game.
For GoG version, use the files in "GoG VERSION" folder
For Disk version (CD/DVD), use the files in "SWBF2 DISK VERSION". Also includes swbfspy multiplayer patch.

I stand corrected it works and is fantastic. I am using the 120 fps version but I just saw a 240 htz monitor. Imagine playing at 240 fps

Does this mod work with Anakin's remaster resolution mod? If so, how? I usually launch the game from his exe version to utilize the HUD and menu tweaks.

This makes some vehicles such as droid tank glitch out.
