first you need either the DX10 renderer : Kentie.net
or the DX11 renderer : Moddb.com
Recommended changes : edit the user settings of the game(Default.ini or Revision.ini or GMDXv10Default.ini in the system folder) and change CacheSizeMegs to 512
and change the Load Bias from the renderer settings (use the tilde button and enter the command "preferences" ) and change the load bias from either dx10 or dx11 to -1

FOR THE VANILLA GAME AND GMDX THE TEXTURES FOLDER IS IN THE MAIN DIRECTORY
FOR REVISION THE TEXTURES FOLDER IS IN THE REVISION FOLDER

all addons are included just pick either vanilla enhanced or reimagined and install no need for other downloads
The installer doesn't work for me! I leave it running and nothing happens.
the installation for the main update is slow give it time its a big file , did you input the correct location for the textures folder? try to install into desktop if it doesn't work and manually copy those folders into the textures folder

Thanks for the reply! It seems to be installing now, I think the issue was with installing into steamapps/deusex.. Not sure why my computer wouldn't allow it.

This. This is better than what Revision's texture did (HD for main / important casts, but Low Poly / Original for supporting or throwaway casts). Especially when there's the option between HD Vanilla and Reimagined texture packs.
With that aside, i played this with GMDX vRSD and is the Stealth Pistol on the FOMOD Beta texture pack that includes new textures, animations and sound effects a feature you've done alongside the other weapons? Because the fingers when equipping it is... abnormal and weird. But if it turns out you didn't do such thing, then i've got the wrong peraon to ask this on.

This mod HTO 2.0 is awesome. I'm really enyoing a gameplay with new stylish textures, however half of textures aren't showing up or files missing? I can see classical old textures mixed with new one. In the first level, for example on the Unatco plates, grass etc. Installation was successfully completed without problems. Do I need to download additional files? New Vision or something else? Or maybe I'm making mistakes. :o

Actually I figured it out, mod defaults to the wrong install folder. Make sure you install the textures to your actual folder.
Is there one set of directions for installing this with all the recommended add ons & mods? Just from HTO & addons I have multiple copies of the same textures & none of the readmes reference the others.
I gave up on trying to figure out what is mutually exclusive, what is recommended to be used together & what is up to date. I value all the hard work that's gone into everything, but a single set of non-conflicting install directions is the last & most important step.
I gave up after 30 minutes when I realized it would take another 6 hours to confirm everything is working & catch up on 20 years of modding lingo & knowledge.
