These are tools for working with DLG, QST, BIF, MDB, GFF, and NSS files.
Note: If you wish to talk about modding The Witcher I recommend joining the TW1/2 modding discord Redkit Central here.
EDIT: 6/5/2023: I've found several more lost tools from TK102 that are now included in this archive.
Included in this archive are the programs
- GFF2XML - As far as I know created by Bioware. Allows you to read GFF files in easy to use xml files
- DLGView - created by iarspider. Allows you to view dialogue files
- WitchDLG - created by tk102 - Allows you to view/edit dialogue files
- QSTView - created by iarspider. Allows you to view Quest files
- UnBIF - created by Csimbi. Allows unpacking BIF files
- WitchExtract - created by shakotay2. Allows converting The Witcher .mdb files to .obj
- BIFRip v0.0.5 - created by tk102. This is another tool you can use to extract BIF files
- WitchSav v1.0 - created by tk102. Witcher Save file unpacker/repacker
- WF v0.4 - created by tk102. Command line search for GFF values
- KGFF v1.3.1- created by tk102. GFF editor built for KotOR/TSL, updated to display language correct IDs for The Witcher (use View menu to toggle)
- nwscriptdefn.nss - In this document will be listed every single constant used (such as equipment slots like INVENTORY_SLOT_STEELSWORD and INVENTORY_SLOT_SHORT1), and every function in The Witcher. It is a very useful reference guide when you are trying to script.
- Radtools - Allows you to create Bink video files.
- loadscreens.2da - This is a sample file for creating custom loading screens
This archive is provided for convenience as the existing links may go down one day. And these programs are invaluable for modding the Witcher.
As of 2023 many of these programs original links are fully gone. So they are thankfully preserved here forever.
