The mod itself in the literal sense of Rome 1 on the movement of the medival, all the features from the original, all the units minus the dogs of various and chariots (there are none), occurred as in the original (practically), the only one, Egypt ceased to live in the Bronze Age and became an elective Greek faction with Egyptian flavor, and Persia was also added, built based on Persia from Alexander, it was added simply because I wanted to add it) Do I need such a mod? Hi how do you install the mod?
Just put the folder "europe_ancient" into the medeival2/mods folder
and after it run the europe_ancient.bat
doesn't start

dont have almost any text (also UI texts) in game and cant save\load. Its only for me? Any suggestions?
You should have English version of medieval 2, this mod have localization conflict with other languages

Yes, if you have other languages except English you might have localisation bugs
I have been hoping somebody would make a mod just like this. Are there any plans of putting this mod on a map with more settlements than the vanilla campaign.
I love it mate, but i dont have any text in game, i use euro version
I exacted the file in the med2/mod folder and then tried to click on the command file but nothing happens at all
I reinstalled Med2, switched to English, downloaded the mod again but still nothing happen when clicking on europe_ancient file ...
If you have steam version of Med 2, then you need to go to main folder, find medieval2.exe make a copy and name it kingdoms.exe, this problem will be solved by patch in future.
