Description

This is a bugfix mod for Dawn of War: Dark Crusade, version 1.2 or later. Originally created by Relicnews forum member "anilkocman" with the name 'Chaplain Mod', it was intended to fix an upgrade bug with the Chaplain (which prevented the Chaplain from gaining melee damage bonuses), but over several iterations turned into the most comprehensive bugfix mod available for Dark Crusade. The mod focuses only on fixing what truly appear to be bugs, mistakes or omissions without trying to modify or add other features, with one exception: it does incorporate the Skirmish AI mod (version 2.6) for Dark Crusade, thus improving computer AI.

I've made a fix for a bug that occurs during the campaign, where attacking the Vandean Coast while it is under Necron control will result in an immediate Fatal Scar Error: Mediafire.com

Currently (Since version 30 is released) I am not working for the new version. Maybe I shall do something additional in future, maybe not, but if you have some suggestions or fixes, you should write directly to the author of the mod - Soul Reaver (Master Reaver). You can find his email in readme file of the mod

Hello! Just wanted to say, great mod, thank you for working on it.

I've found a bug, nothing too major, but it does make things extremely easy..: for Tau, at least in the campaign, the Tau Commander will move at an incredibly high speed after the Research for Jet Packs is completed. Having the Jet Pack War Gear or not does not affect this, and it seems to be directly tied to its speed stat, since it pretty much displays the move animation, only at the "fly" speed (actually even faster than that), and the Pariah Speed Malus applies to this movement, too.

Otherwise, all seems great, so far!

Hello!

I've made three small fixes to campaign Dropbox.com

1. During campaign, Tau Commander runs just a little faster after Jet Packs research
2. During campaign, if a terrain with Deamon Prince is selected, his icon actually shows up
3. During campaign, Deamon Prince spots units with infiltration ability

Hello, thanks for your help. Number three should not be modified, because Eliphas' Helm of Lorgar provides the Daemon Prince with detection. It should be so. Can you explain me the second problem more specific?

Number three didn't work at least in my installment - during campaign Prince couldn't detect mines for example - hence the fix. You can check number two on campaign map screen. If you select terrain with any commander, game shows you his portrait in upper right corner. When you select prince, this portrait place is empty.

Oh, I think you're referring to the "Army Screen" once you select the territory where your army is, right? It's normal, IIRC, that the Icon as Daemon Prince does not appear, and, again IIRC, the Daemon Prince should be seen as part of the Honor Guard.

I do not know, if you will read this message (much time has gone since that day), but if yes, accept my gratitude, as I have showed your fix to Master Reaver and he included it in the new version.
